You didnt see the 03 series? Shredder was a man but was controlled by an ultrom so he was basically a machine. I hated it.

I think this sort of supports my "plastic surgery" theory. If not, I think they still will reveal that "Eric Sachs" is really Oroku Saki (perhaps born and raised in Japan) and now Saki is just a white guy instead of Japanese.

Some random facts I was thinking of:

-Oroku Saki and Eric Sachs both have nine letters in the names
-Both have the "S" for the first letter of the last name.
-This is how the name Eric would be pronounced in Japanese: e-ri-kku, sounds somewhat similar to the pronunciation of "O-ruu-ku" in English.
-Look at how "Saki" and "Sachs" are similar in English. Sachs can easily be some bastardization in English of "Saki".

Aside from my plastic surgery theory, here's some others:

-Oroku Saki is indeed Eric Sachs. His real name IS Oroku Saki, but he's a white guy born and raised in Japan and part of a ninja clan with Hamato Yoshi (likely adopted by the clan). His face is scarred but he hides it with mask/make-up.

-William Fincher's/Eric Sach's face is a "mask" and his public image, it covers up his scarred Japanese face and hides his true identity as leader of the Foot Clan. Eric Sachs is his public/business face and allows him to run a multi-million dollar corporation while hiding his illegal activities. I think this is more sound than the plastic surgery theory. Since Shredder is pissed at Splinter for scarring his face and this would do well to hide his true identity. This could also mean there is a super secret actor that plays the REAL Japanese Shredder.

-Eric Sachs is a Foot Clan member decoy a la Ken Watannabe's Ra's Al Ghul and Liam Neeson's Ducard in Batman Begins. The real Shredder runs his legitimate businesses through "Eric Sachs". Once again, unnamed actor as the REAL Shredder hasn't been revealed to support this theory.

Wouldn't it be cool if someone like Ken Watannabe, Chow Yun Fat, or Jet Li was the REAL Shredder?

Just rewatched the 1st movie, it was incredibly fun, I fell in love with the characters again, it was amazing how they could movie inside those suits, man, now I hope this one is half as lighthearted and funny as the 1st one.
Are the sequels as fun as I remember them to be?
