here's the shirt I have, just removed the collar (found under 1/6 sweater)
https://cgi.ebay.ca/ob60-1-6-Custom...ptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116

Also using:
- soldier story body
- Joker gloved hands - gloves look the same
- hand the pants laying around for another build.
-boots - Newline Miniatures (I use theirs exclusively)
-various knives
-syringe will be made from clear protective tube from a paint brush

May also make the box of slides from balsa & clear plastic film cut to size, I tend to get a little retentive on my builds, check out my Winchester bros from Supernatural

If you need any help at all or have any questions let me know. Always willing to help

thanks is his pants brown or olive green they look a light brown

This is great news, can't wait to see what Chris does with this sculpt!

I used the shirt from the Diamond Select Jack Bauer for my Dexter. I cut the collar off of it. I still need to re-do the buttons on it. I got some pants for mine from a Power Team figure that I picked up at Big Lots and the gloves are a pair from Dragon that I cut shorter. Joker's gloved hands are also perfect. I made an ID badger and a syringe for mine too. I'll have to post some new pics one of these days.

die
(please tell me the name is from the guitar player from Dir en Grey dude, AWESOME band), you so scooped me doing the Dexter! It looks perfect Love the shading around the eyes
krec, the thing about the pants is they look olive to me in the picture, however I had 2 different pairs sitting around & one is an odd brownish olive sorta color, with the shirt it looks kinda right

Ok, die was looking again. Smokin work, never thought of the id badge, great idea. Let me know how you made the syringe. Mine i made from the clear tube covering a paint brush end, a small piece of dowel, the end off of a round plastic loop that hods price tags on to clothing & a cut down stick pin. Love to see images of yours. You've nailed it

Thanks knucklefunger!

Your syringe idea sounds brilliant, I'd love to see pics of that. I used a syringe that came from some smaller figure, I think a videogame character (I forget what game). I need to paint it, but it looks cool. I'll try to post pics soon.

Dexter wears alot of earthtone stuff. Variations of olive, light brown or khaki will work, I've seen him wearing several different versions. I want to add some sweat stains on mine under his armpits for added realism.:rotfl

It actually does come from a guitar player from a band, but a much lesser known band. Isn't that a crazy coincidence?!

Here's some pics of mine so far:

I also used a Medicom stand and used red stained glass paint to give it a blood splatter on glass effect.

Die, perfect build. It's the details that make the bash fall together. The paintwork, especially the eyes give em the look.

BTW, I was planning on putting on a butchers apron on him. Yes or no, would it mess with the look? Also want to give him a severed foot (Ice cream truck reference)

I don't think this would mess with the look at all, since that is a big part of his character when he is doing his work. I think this is the route I am going to eventually go.

Found some black rubber gardening gloves for 1.00 I'm gonna maybe cut down to shape, hell for 1.00 if it looks poochy then I'm only out a dollar

I think it's a great idea to add the apron! I'd even bloody-it-up some :joy

I'll give it a go once the apron is done. I'll give it the bloody treatment, however I don't want it to have the Hammer films vivid blood look. Will have to do a little research on what the old claret will look like on black rubber. Clear gloss for that wet look

Nearly done the Ada, clear coat drying as I type, a little more highlights in the hair, detail the eyes then shazam

Take some pics and post them!

I might get another Ada head to paint up for practice. I want to see how the resculpted version looks in person.
