Just one suggestion, seems like the best looking option may be to use a Soldier Story body because of the neck & the thermal style Dex wears. Just think it would look better instead of an unsightly neck joint. Suggestions?

I agree.

It will look alot better that way.

You guys deserve exposure in the general collectibles section. Every other commission thread gets started there, people join in and after a month or so it gets moved to this dungeon (custom commissions) where a couple people here and there join. Ask a mod to move it there for a while :)

KBA, great idea. Just sent a message asking for the move. Thanks for the suggestion
Knucks

krec9, welcome aboard. Ok, so which sculptor do we want to approach? Chris has been the suggested in another thread. Shall we go with him providing he can take the time to do it?

There's some talented sculptors on this board, hopefully at least one of them would be enough of a Dexter fan to step up! (I wouldn't mind several different people giving it a try, I'd buy at least one of each)

Stick me down for one aswell, hell i'm down on most of Chris's sculpts anyway :lol I have an Ada sculpt but another option would be great. I can have one in good guy gear and one in cold hearted killer gear :lol

correct me if I am wrong but I thought this thread was directed towards Chris Howes taking on this project... I mean I did make the thread with that intention... :duh

Sorry, wasn't sure. I'm pretty sure it would be amazing should Chris agree to produce it. How are we doing for numbers? Has Chris been contacted yet? I can't wait, already have everything ready to go. Body, clothing etc. Just need that sculpt.

Yep as GatackFC said ..and I think Chris would be the best person at this stage to make sculpt to our expectations.

Gatack - you started this lol! Have you made contact with Chris about getting this one going? :)

As soon a Chris gives it the green light, I wanna pay. Like to have it squared away

Gatack, I thought I was the only one that was doing this at work. Love to hear Chris's take on the subject, look forward to his reply

just wondering if we can't get enough people on board can we drop a little extra cash to get this sculpt approved? After seeing Chris work, I'd really like to see how Chris puts Dexter together.

Has anybody tried posting this at OSW? I know there would be a few guys there that would be interested.

Good news guys! Chris has accepted! but it won't be instantaneous because he's still busy with a few projects. He did say that he started a Dexter head awhile back and left it on the side. He'll get back to it within a few weeks! you know what... I'll just quote him from the pm for a better understanding lols....

You guys are killing me! :lol

Generally, I prefer to only start a thread after agreeing to a project, and there's a waiting list right now, but you're in luck.

Last year when I started doing these customs one of the first heads people suggested was Dexter. So, I started a Dexter head. I got caught up in a lot of other projects and put him aside half done meaning to get back to him at some point.

So, we can proceed, but it's going to be several weeks until I can get back to him at the earliest, so please make sure folks understand this so no one gets over anxious. I'll chime in shortly in the thread.

Take Care,
Chris
