Reminds me of Brian Wilson and how his "therapist" isolated him from his friends and family and then wrote himself in to Brian's will as his sole heir. Good thing people who really cared about him were able to intervene and help Brian escape before the guy did massive damage and killed him.

As for his final tour that was planned to kick-off in July, I really wish Janet could step in for him. I know it won't happen though.

They will probably have a tribute concert. They could have bands cover his songs, and donate the proceeds to charity. Might be interesting to hear U2 do Dirty Diana. :)

I heard on the news that they might start holding tours at the Neverland Ranch similar to Graceland and Winchester Mystery House in a few years. You know that place would be jam packed big time.

That'd be a way to settle the $400 Million in debt he is rumored to owe.

I know CBS did a short tribute to Farrah on their Jackson show, but that's all I've seen for her so far. Don't know if I missed them or that they never came about.

I was watching a report on Farrah when the news of Michael Jackson broke. They were just going on about Charlie's angels. She's done so much more than just that TV show. I really want to see a proper tribute done for her

If the amounts they say he get from the Beatles rights hi owns still it wont really take that long to pay off 400M. 40M a year will make a dent in that pretty fast.

I didn't realize he owned all the songs- I thought just a portion.

Regardless, owning is not the same as writing and performing!
And he definitely has never been more popular nor as productive nor as talented as the Beatles.

I don't think there is much doubt that Elvis and the Beatles were more influential. I realize that Thriller sold the most albums, but the Beatles catalog must surely have sold more than the Jackson catalog over time. In terms of song-writing talent and general awesomeness, I'm afraid the Beatles win in a landslide, though Jackson is a better dancer than Ringo, IMO.

not as popular???thriller biggest selling record of all time!!!!

Worlwide he IS bigger than Elvis...
Elvis is more iconic in the US than all over the world...

Michael co-owns half of the publishing rights (he doesn't own the songs) of the Beatles catalog along with SonyATV, as well as other artists publishing rights.

BTW, the Beatles have sold over a Billion records, Elvis too...
Michael so far, 750 million...
