I think what upset most about the Vick "thing" was just how racially devided it was like so many other issues in this country. This wasn't a case where there was ANY question as to if Vick did this yet many african americans still said it was racially motivated. Many african americans seemed to want him to walk based on the fact that he is black. Many seemed to have cared less that he did it.

Before anyone thinks I am bing racial I'm not. I was just surprised at the number of black people that seemed to feel he should walk.

It is true that there were african americans who felt he should be held accountable and there were white people who felt he should walk as well so it was not a 100% swing on either side.

To me, it's just sad that race still had to be such a major issue when he ADMITTED he did it.

I'm, VERY sorry to say, but if you're a high profile african american, everything is about race; which is extremly sad. I don't care if he's black, white, purple, or red, he should go to jail for what he did.

The only issue of racism that should be involved is if the dogs were african-americans
