Will probably pass on this. I don't like the fact that it's just a reworked sculpt of Bill and it's not all that iconic of a character. But I might pick up an outfit set, depending on the final product of course.

No, the hatless head will be the DX exclusive so therefore that head will not be made available.

He used a sculpt from Bill the Butcher, the same actor, which happens to be, hands down, his best work to date.

Yeah, it's not that I'm pissed about really. The argument is weak considering there isn't much difference between Daniel in GoNY and Daniel in TWBB. I'm just not a huge fan of the character

yes, I am not getting the re-worked argument either. Like you say not as if he has re-worked a different actor into Plainview. He has altered like army said his most perfect sculpt yet. He hasn't been lazy, he has altered the expression so basically making it a new sculpt imo. There was still plenty of work involved. DDL was literally the same size in both movies so it's not like his face would be slightly different either. To me its perfect Plainview

both look to be his best so far. wonder if he'll give lincoln a go. i'd get that figure for sure, but even if it never gets that far, would love to see if he could still capture DDL so well under all the make-up etc.

Well I don't think anybody would honestly expect him to start from scratch again for this?
Bill and Daniel were exactly the same weight/frame, so seems only logical you would tweak it to suit. Like I said earlier, he has changed the expression which would have been time consuming enough.

It's Daniel so it's awesome, But it's the SAME sculpt. I don't see any change to the expression other than modding the hair, moustache, and adding a few wrinkles. Most of the praise will have to go to his tailor I imagine.
