They would kick Medicom's ass at Matrix. If they did those, then I really WOULD get back into collecting HT humans.

Yep. Neo lobby scene or as 'The One'. Trinity Lobby scene. Morpheus from any film, Agent Smith with one neutral face and one angry face - "Why Mr. Anderson WHY?"

God The Expendables was a lame, sloppy, letdown.
Why must Hot Toys waste such time and resources on crappy license after crappy license?

What's next? Figures from Lottery Ticket?

Rorschach, Superman, and Avatar seem to have been swept under the carpet. Inception was quietly ignored. Platoon is the only thing I'm jazzed about right now.

Forgive my rant. At least I'm saving money. :monkey1

The problem with inception is that there are no characters interesting enough to make a worthy figure. It's no surprise they looked right past that license... as did evey other figure company.

I'd say the whole cast of Inception is more interesting than most of the figures they're making now...

Did you mean visually?

Yup, visually. They're great characters, but not action figure material. I'm gaga over the movie, but I won't buy the figures if a company decides to make a figure of them. Well, except perhaps for Ken Watanabe, but only the nude as I'll convert it to Katsumoto.

My guesses are 133 and 134 are Ghost Rider and his bike and 136 is Landa. I think those are the only HT products shown off so far that we have yet to get full pics specs on yet so it would make sense fore them to be the missing numbers. Of course it would make more sense if HT just numbered them as they released the full pics and specs :duh

Would agree. If I had the choice between say Neo and Cobb, I'd buy the Neo figure.

HT does label their vehicles with MMS numbers when they're sold separately. But their Ghost Rider figures comes with the bike. At least according to the little placard in front of the figure which does not mention "sold separately" like when HT displayed Batman figures next to the Tumbler and Batpod.

So what makes an old forgettable Sly Stallone character from a sub-par movie more worthwhile than an attractive guy in a suit from a brilliant movie? They both come with guns. Leo or Joe Levitt's likeness' on the shelf would be just as exciting, if not more so, given there are dozens of Rocky and Rambo pieces to choose from already. Were any of Sly's costumes really that much more interesting?

Inception is sure to go down as an iconic film, Expendables, eh not so much.

Sometimes the logic around here puzzles me. Some of you who are denying any interest in figures from Inception own/want/like a figure of Tim Robbins from The Shawshank Redemption. A dude in a blue jumpsuit with a little rock hammer. Moreso it comes down to personal attachment vs appearance, I'd say.

Ask the average person who Rambo or Rocky is. Then ask them the name of Leo or Levitt's last character.

Inception was good, but they are just guys in suits. Expendables may not have been high art, but it has known action stars and that translates into sales of action figures.

No arguing sales. I would love Inception figures and believe they would look more classy on the shelf, but it's not going to happen.

Yup. Or show the average person just a picture of Sylvester Stallone in Rocky or Rambo and I guarantee most will say "Oh that's Rocky" or "Oh that's Rambo".

But show the same average people a picture of DiCaprio or Levitt from anything they've ever done and most people will just be able to name the actors. But not any specific character they've ever played by name.

Hell I've seen DiCaprio in dozens of movies and the only character I can name is Teddy Daniels and that's because it's Manji's new username on here. :lol

Only character I can name for JGL is Cobra Commander (and that's only because I'm familiar with G.I. Joe).

And it's not hard to see that in general, collectors want superheroes and macho action men.
