Yeah but that's Iron Man. Ghost Rider isn't on that level (At least I don't think it is). I guess it all depends on how the first figure sells.

That's because those movies (Rocky, Rambo) to the average person became iconic as to where Inception will never reach that status.

That comment from me was in response to Master Wayne suggesting that Inception WILL reach that iconic status. I actually agree with you, it was successful no doubt but Inception will never be remembered like Rocky or Rambo, etc.

As for the 'They are just guys in suits', so are a lot of figures that have come out before, like James Bond or Reservoir Dogs.

Yeah.. but we're talking about Hot Toys, not other companies. How many James Bond or Reservoir Dogs type of figures has HT released? And Bond would be different anyways because that character IS iconic.

That wasn't the point...we were talking about iconic movies. HT makes figures of the dumbest licences sometimes so that's a moot point.

some characters are icons to some people but not others,does it not come down to which movie/character means the most to each individual regardless of the overall consensus i hope one of the missing figures is a new kroenen from hellboy2,bit random but would like to see one

Basically the decision to make a figure is based on what properties HT thinks will sell and also more importantly, what licenses HT can acquire. Also you have to remember they're a HK based company. So they cater to their home market first and foremost.
