No, he hasn't opened the card yet but now he is dying to.
My folks walked into the office just as I was reading this and I told them about it. My mother's instant reaction was that we have GOT to take the package when we go to my brother's for Christmas and open it there. Pop was laughing hard at the thought. If they don't chicken out I will try to record it, though it risks the camera. (My brother HATES to be photographed/filmed...and he isn't even a vampire....) I'll let everyone know what the card says and how it goes anyway.

Considering how much I've "pissed off" certain Sideshow employees and many of them are friends on Facebook so could easily find me I took the warning seriously. I'm still waiting for Christmas Day for me to open the box and then all of a sudden the Sideshow Ninjas to drop from the ceiling and slam a Pippin statue in my throat.

You could try "or this box will self destruct" but that might cause some delivery delays.

Wow. I just reread our card and laughed my butt off. It makes you look like a rock star -your brother not so much-, but your Dad and mom will most definitely pee themselves while your brother escorts you all out of his house. You may need a back up holiday house plan. Hey if nobody wanted to point out the elephant in the room, we did it for you!
Here is the part of our accolades and super nanny rant which may have your brother tossing you guys out on the stoop!

Chicky, I'm currently cut off (in both directions) in my little town and surrounded by flood waters-- can I change my wish choice from a Jedi Luke PF to an inflattable raft?

Yeah, I'm envisioning CNN reports with shutdown UPS planes...

The raft will probably be made of polystone so I'm not sure floating is an option.

Yeah, we got talking after I posted (but before I read this) and Pop thought maybe it might not be the best idea to read it out to my brother. Funny enough, my mother will probably still be up for it even if I tell her that part! I think she's about ready to say something like that herself!! But I will try to record my father's reaction when he reads the letter, whatever they decide.

Oh, I've got all of my packing materials from all past SSC PF's in the non-flooded part of my basement-- I still might just take them out and construct some type of floatation device. Scary things here-- luckily my place wasn't hit as hard as others-- one of the other small communities is mostly submerged. The bridge that connects to our provincial capital was washed away and the highway in the other direction (which was good for travelling for the last few days since this flooding started with the heavy rain and mild temperatures) has since been made impassable. I haven't been to work since Monday at noon-- but at least being cut off I won't have to stare out my window for a mysterious Fed-Ex delivery... unless it's an air drop. Now that'd be a cool care package.
