SO what happens if you're not around for the week of christmas, and you are getting something?

That is probably up to UPS to decide. I would hope they would leave you notices but if you aren't gone more than a week I would think you would be alright because after the 3 attempts they leave at their place a few days before they return to sender.

Thing is here, where I live, very not safe. If they leave a notice on my door, someone will take it off my door and go get it. Trust me. I can't tell you the luck I've had at this complex. I am leaving the first week of Jan. Sometimes you get lucky, and sometimes you do not. And for Christmas, I will be gone a full week, maybe more. Haven't decided what day to leave yet. But I know it will be for a full week + weekend.

I didn't enter the contest this year but just found out that my wonderful, great wife entered and wished for a gift for me. I have the best wife!! Really surprised with this one! The prizes have started going out already and I think it keeps going up until Xmas. Mine showed up ON Xmas eve last year...

When I won for my wife last year, it actually showed up on the 29th, so don'e give up if you've made a wish.

So I spoke too soon...gotta call from my mom saying UPS delivered a box that needed to be signed for to her house. I asked for a Captain America PF for my brother who is going into the Marines this Spring. Looking at the site it might be the LBS of Captain America but none the less very frigging cool. I am going over there tonight to open it with it. I am letting him open it early since he is already getting a bunch of stuff for christmas
