Could it be a conflict of materials between the suit and belt? I haven't recieved mine yet but if I were to guess i'd say there is a reaction with belt and suit. Nothing seeping .......... just condensation.

Could be some sort of reaction between belt and suit. If it is, it doesn't matter what belt you use as I'm using the v1 belt on my figure.

Just strange that it is happening so soon after opening for some people. I have had mine on display since about two weeks after he was released and he is fine.

You may have it and not know it. I couldn't really see fluid, more so, just noticed part of him was shinier than the rest.

The belt has literally nothing to do with it. I've had the V1 on mine for weeks, and it's not even in contact with the ab area.

I doubt it's a chemical reaction between belt and the suit as it still occurs with paper and plastic wrap sandwhiched in between.
Snakeeater you seem to hold the key to the secret as to why it is not happening to you. I must assume you have your belt on. I wish we did a poll to get an idea on how widespread this occurance is

I have a hard time feeling the belt has nothing to do with it since the issue seems to conentrate at the belt line. If the belt were a non factor I would think this would occur anywhere on the suit. Could just be coincidence that the belt is in that area though, the area is also where the rubber is double thick with the overlap of the shirt and pants, that could be a factor too I suppose.

Perhaps if you start a thread like that you can ask for people to indicate which batch theirs is from.

Well I'm going to test my theory. I've had my Batman standing next to my computer monitor which generates a lot of heat after a while, and the problem only arose on the side closest to the monitor, so I'm standing him away from the heat source and see what happens.

There were a lot of people (including me) who's Mort vinyl figures were "leaking" as well so its not just a Hot Toys thing.

Interesting. I have to say, the frustrating thing of this isn't so much that it's happening, but that there's no identifiable reason for it, and HT doesn't seem to look into it or comment on it.

I think (I hope) they are investigating this but not going to reposond until they found a reason why and a solution to counter it.
I started a poll now that I realized that I actually can do it myself

I've emailed this to Hot Toys, see if/what they respond with.

Dear Hot Toys,
I received my DX02 Batman figure this week, and last night I noticed fluid accumulating on the abdominal region of the figure. I'm aware of other collectors experiencing this problem also, and no one can figure out what the cause is. The fluid can be wiped away but continues to come back after doing so. I, and the other collectors who are experiencing this problem, would greatly appreciate if you could determine the cause of this problem and share it with everyone. You've been so up front and helpful with the other QC issues that have come up with this figure, the paint issue and the warped heads are dealt with, now the only thing holding back this figure from being amazing is that it has this moisture problem, it would be a great service to your collectors if you could help us figure out and resolve this problem.

During my request for RMA for the broken forearm and glossy Sonar head I also send them my findings of this issue and they did replied that they will look into this and forward my information to the appropriate personal so let's hope some sort of resolution will come of this

At least if they could identify why it happens, we could conjure up a way to stop it on our own, though if they found a way to stop it that'd be even better, but where we can't figure out why it happens, we're just taking stab after stab at dealing with it and no luck, either you get it or you don't, there's no got it and got rid of it.
