Re: Temperature. I don't think it's the sole cause, but high temps might exacerbate the issue. Once I put mine into the enclosed Detolf (I've since removed the door), I noticed an increase in the moisture. Also, my Detolf was right next to a 42" Plasma TV which gave off an unbelievable amount of heat, and I've since (as of this morning) moved the Detolf across the room and near the A/C vent. Since the removal of the door and moving of the Detolf, I haven't noticed any moisture build-up as of the past 4 hours. We'll see how it is after a day or so.

There were a lot of people (including me) who's Mort vinyl figures were "leaking" as well so its not just a Hot Toys thing.

Yeah I have a Muttpop vinyl figure that's doing the similar oil leaking thing and I know some people have had the same issue with the original WWR Bertie.

At least if they could identify why it happens, we could conjure up a way to stop it on our own, though if they found a way to stop it that'd be even better, but where we can't figure out why it happens, we're just taking stab after stab at dealing with it and no luck, either you get it or you don't, there's no got it and got rid of it.

What happens long term though?...

You commented about my cape, but your photos look like it rests on the shoulders same as mine. Most people will tell you to use your custom cape though.

I say go for the lforigno cape, at least with that one you can drape it over him without it looking stupid.

If you look at the cape in the photos though, there doesn't look like any clip, I think they just tucked the fabric into the armor.

Given the tall look of the neck on the production figure, I feel like the custom capes are too thin and don't help hide that, where the thicker capes help fill out his shoudlers and make it look a little better.

It's all about preference.

Manji, if you do put on the lforigno cape would you do a post with both capes diplayed in the above pose (2 pics)? I would like to see a comparison.

Think i might get my lforigno cape out tomorrow and play around with that and see how that looks. I guess i prefer the flat look and not draped around the shoulders so much.

It does, but for those of us who don't have lightning fast internet, huge pics like that are really frustrating when the page loads.
