It's a shirt and pants combination like the v1. You can feel inside, the rubber of the pants is dry, the back side of the shirt part is dry. At least what I see, doesn't seem like it's anything leaking, it's very uniform and clean, it looks almost like a glossing effect, even to the touch the difference isn't huge.

The moisture seems to be in the ab area. It's quite thick unlike the V1. It really stops that beer gut Batman look but not if it leaks.

I'm not sure I'd call it leaking. If it were leaking, I would think it'd run down the legs or something or have an uneven distribution of the effect. What I find at least, is that the ab plate 100% changes to look darker and glossier, there's no spot missed, there's no sign of residue, it just changes, but yet, you can wipe it and it looks like the rest of them as before.

Maul, I had been looking over the pics of yours many pages ago when you had the 3 mouth pieces sitting next to each other. I couldn't help but notice... if you can confirm this... from the photos with the heads on the necks, it looks to me as if the sonar head is the perfect roundness unlike the PERS head, no?

Actually Vodoun - for some reason I was getting the same sense from a lot of pictures that others have posted, that the Sonar head has a more rounded profile than the PERs and is hence a little more accurate... weird...

This cowl really drives me nuts then. Even the Medicom with the mods. One angle it looks off, then one right angle and the wrong lighting it looks off.

If light hits the side of the head or both sides it throws off the whole look creating it to look squished. Then if the sides are near solid or in complete darkness it shows the right look.

If the light hits the forehead it looks ace, yeah yeah I know it's all illusions but it really creates weird ones.

Well, taking a closer look for you, what it is with this one is viewing angle. You can see in that photo, the PERS head is slightly lower than the Sonar. If you look at the head from lower angles, the jawline becomes wider looking and makes the head look shorter and rounder, if you look at it perfectly straight on, it can look thinner and straighter.

Of the two heads, the v1 is rounder than the DX heads.

There's no lighting or angle that'll make the head look like the real thing from a front on view like this.

^ I know what you mean. The other thing that really bothers me is that HT got it soooo close to perfect this time around but they made the damn ears too thin! They look great from upper angles but straight on they are certainly off. Easy thing to have got right. Oh well, nothing can be perfect i suppose.

The ears aren't too thin, they're definitely too tall though. I don't know why, but the Nolan Batman cowl heads seem notoriously hard to get just right compared to regular human portraits.

Yeah i suppose you're right that they're too tall but i also think they need to be a tad wider at the base, just comparing to some movie shots.. argh, frustrating. Not an easy thing to mod either

If you could mix the silhouette of the v1 head with the details of the DX, that'd be close to perfect.

By the way, just so people know, last night and today's photos were with the plastic clips removed from the v1 cape and the tips of the cape just tucked down into the suit, looks and works much better.

Thank you. Yeah I was relieved everything was OK. I love this figure a lot. Also picked up a joker dx from a friend who is a distributor in Australia.

I think I need to buy a 2nd one lol.
