It could be thicker, but it's not terribly thin either

God! If only it was like that. It makes it look nice and beefy.

the problem is that it's TOO LONG.

It's too thin.

And I actually think it is both too skinny and too long.


But mostly too skinny.

I love photo #2 and #3. Such a nice pose. If only the neck was thicker. Almost the same width as the head.

Thanks vodoun for the compliment..... yes I wish the neck is abit thicker too.. especially can see that when it's shown in pictures.. however in person it's not too much of a problem.

Neck could be slightly thicker.



Now with a photo-manipulated, slightly thicker neck:

Very small adjustment but it does look better IMO.

Tin did thickening neck mod way back when this came out in the HK, but to me, went a bit too far.

Yeah, it's a bit tree trunk thick.

I was so convinced way back that this belt, the whole belt was completely metal. Not just anther plastic belt with magnets at the back.

Another crud move doing the photoshop trick. The belts don't shine like that.

It's a shame though you never ever see updated photos when they are released. All you ever see is prototype photos most of the time. What that achieved when it's in stores I do not know.

Actually, Hot Toys did post a photo of the production DX Batman next to the v1 figure. They're pretty good about posting new images when significant differences happen between prototype photos and the final product.

Yeah but it was 1 photo. You don't see it if you go to their site to see the DX. All you see is these pics on page 1.

Ideally, yes, they should put up a production gallery, Sideshow does it with their products if the final piece is different enough from the prototype shots.
