It happens. With a wife and two kids ... dad's toys don't always come first (or, dad has to pick a toy -- HK P30 or DX02). Haha. I'll live, I'm sure.
Actually ... the HK P30 has grips that kinda resemble the batman suit in TDK. HK reviewers have called them "Batman grips". My guess is the grips don't leak. Haha.

batman owns all guns. if someone breaks into your house, and you need to protect yourself, now you're stuck with a gun, when you could of had batman there to save you. good going.

Yeah ... but they couldn't save them either. Beating an intruder to death with a Batman toy is a challenge I am unwilling to undertake. Practicality, for the win. Plus, I'm not dumb enough to leave my kids lives at risk (to either an outside party, or my own weapon). Safety is foremost in both cases.
A real Batman is unfortunately cost prohibitive, and Batman action figures make lousy weapons.

9mm ammo is cheaper than HT figures. Haha.
Plus, HT are valuable enough that I'd have to dig them out of the corpse -- an awkward and gooey process ... and, even then, the intrinsic or resalve value of a HT figure that was recovered via autopsy ain't much. The intruder can just keep the bullets.

Right on. The guy is a total twat. Anchorman = a few good jokes here and there.
Kicking and Screaming = Almost tolerable.
