They'll get around to them. Right now I think everybody's in a panic over the poor reception and backlash of Lee's BD HS (which I still can't see anything wrong with), the Indy figure's overall failure and making sure there're no issues with the Reeve Superman. Those three are enough to tarnish a reputation for quite a while. Especially after the DX02 fiasco.

I hear ya on that, I was actually quite shocked by Indy, you see a figure at a level like this Barney and Indy feels like a big miss. I had a lot of hope for that one but the lackluster result is puzzling, it's HT's worst proto in years to me, it doesn't seem up to the level of any of their figures over the past couple years.

Yeah, I think they've hopefully realized Kim's a 1-trick pony. If it was my company, I'd send his ass packing back to EB, shelve everything else, have everybody on staff working their asses off to ensure BD Lee gets fixed (whatever the issue is there), Indy gets a complete overhaul before release and Superman gets put on the shelf until a sculpt that looks 98.999999999999% like Reeve is either purchased or produced. The DX02 screwed them on the Batman deal and will likely have rollover consequences when the '89 is released. A few more ____ups on that level can have them treading water in no time.

Well, I agree Kim's yet to prove himself with Hot Toys, but, my issues with Indy go beyond the head, there's just nothing besides the paint job that makes me feel he's up to the par of HT's products. Look at Barney or the T-800s or the T-1000. They can do such an amazing job of representing the sources these days, but Indy, so much seems so off and wrong that it's hard to imagine. My first thought seeing him was that they prototyped it years ago and just updated with a newer body and sculpt.

Oh, I'm well aware of the rest regarding Indy. :lol Though, I think there'd be less complaints if the likeness had been there. ____, if they'd just reused Trev's sclupt with HT's paints, I wouldn't have hesitated to drop the $250 for it. :(

Sculpt is the big deal for me too, I love Trev's sculpt but Sideshow's paint, well yeah, so I had hoped HT would be close to Trev's so I could have the sculpt and paint. Between the Sideshow figure, my Sovereign Jacket and the Hot Toys figure, I felt like I could come up with an ultimate Indy but HT really isn't offering much of value, other than the new pistol holster that's more in scale than Sideshow's, as I'm not into customizing Indy enough to spend the crazy custom made parts money on anything but the jacket.

That's not even the least bit accurate. The only salvageable parts will be the Maproom get-up, Staff of Rah, the boots assuming you know how to age them and the body for a ToD bash. Those who passed on the Belloq Ex might pick up the inferior idol and pedestal, but aside from that, the rest is crap.

This is all the more painful when you see how well the T1 T-800 and Barney turned out at less than 2/3rds the price. :(

I'll take inaccuracy with that piece over the rediculous size of Sideshow's. While most of the Sideshow costume could use some updates, a jacket swap is enough, but then that holster just sticks out badly.

And I agree with Barney and the T-800, I am amazed at how well the proportions and costuming quality and detail represent the source on them. they really feel like the guys just jumped off the screen and were shrunk down. HT's best is unbeatable and thankfully, most of their stuff is up to this bar, but they still have their issues and aren't flawless. Other than Mark 1 and maybe Mark 4, I've been dissappointed with the body shape/proportions on their Iron Mans, and after so many, you'd think they'd get them right now.

Already fixed this gap problem a while ago. Actually this is not an issue since Barney's arm is just a snap on unlike the other muscle body, all you need to do is push his shoulder upward like it was used to then push it inside the upper body like you want to tighten it w/ a little twist to insert it properly in the holding joint inside. :)

Ahh. Gotcha. Thanks for the clarification~:hi5:

The first top picture is my favorite.

I picked my up today at LCS and was happy it came with the brown box mailer.

for some reason I had a lot of hard time getting the black shirt on and think I overstretched it a bit. I dont remember having such a time doing this when I had T800 T2, but Barney's shirt does seem tight.

around the right ear and along some roots of the hair I noticed it wasn't completed painted color, but it's fine, better to reflect aging Stallone.

I like this a lot and if some of you are still iffy about it I think you should get it.

Actually, at the Guy's Choice Awards, Sly conceded it was never a competition and Arnie had always owned it hands down. Very humble and honest guy.

Very cool of Stallone. Though they are both very important movie icons to a lot of people. I know I wouldn't choose to be without either. arnie happens to have been the guy in 2 of the particular franchises that have been most significant to me. Stallone is a better actor though.

I hope even when he can't star in them, Stallone will continue to write and direct action pictures, he really gets his audience and knows how to cater to it.

I still cant believe how real this sculpt looks. So glad I got this, would've regret it later I think. Even if they release a Rambo figure of this quality, I'll still be proud to own this and will never sell it.
