Is the crystal pedestal part of the image or do you have a replica of that?

The image is 100% from the movie, I just did some manipulation to remove two people from the scene, cleaned up a few crystals I didn't like, added some highlights, some color changes and of course a final crop. The version I have now is a little better, I'll post it up tomorrow in full width.

I was working on a Superman new 52 custom for my Brother last week and made it a custom base. Just a simple S-shield shape.
I made another one yesterday.
My thinking is to make one with a rectangular plug hole that will fit the HT upright stand part, so i can just cast a few for my Superman figures and have them all on the same style base.
It's really simple. Just the same width as a HT oval base. I am not going to put a name plate on it, and just leave it black.
I will chop out the rectangular hole at work on monday and take pics showing what it looks like.

I know this is probably not the right thread, but its superman related so it fits. Has anyone heard any updates on the man of steel hot toys figures?? They announced that teaser a while ago and the movie is getting close. Shouldn't we have had some promo images or something???

I think they're still busy milking the Iron Man 3 cash cow HT has alot to catch up on with the new Thor and Wolverine films due out this year too.

What if the movie sucks, like Superman Returns? Though in that specific case, besides the movie as a whole sucking, every actor also sucked (very badly) in their mis-cast roles. Still not sure what producers were thinking with that one.

What if it doesn't?

Even if it does suck the costume looks awesome and Cavill looks a lot like Superman, so it'd still make for a cool figure.

I actually didn't think Superman Returns was that bad....Spacey was cool. It was weird that they were all younger, but it had cool moments. Although, I was so obsessed with Batman as a kid that I never really got into the Reeve movies so Returns was kind of fun to watch.

If they don't release man of steel figures in favor of all this marvel crap I will cancel my order for their over priced hulk. They got time for all the batman rogues in DC should have time for superman (I am sure he will sell well!)

HT have confirmed Man of Steel figures. And haven't we seen teaser pics of Jor-El?

Has anybody tried the suit on the new HT TTM 20 Advanced Muscle body?

I didn't like the body HT used for this figure! I especially hated the fact you couldn't put his arms down by his side, and I also thought the thighs were to big.
