Damn, glad I read about the valentine2013 promo code. But not glad I didn't read about it two weeks ago when I used the loveis for a mere $15 discount on another order.

I've now cancelled Catwoman from another dealer and placed a new order with Sideshow, saving a few bucks and nabbing the exclusive cowl.

havnt ordered anything from sideshow yet but plan to in the future... i done some research and apparently its about $25 for shipping, then you have to pay import tax and VAT and that costs around $75

You are paying to get it next in line after the Asian continent. They (SSC) supply all of the US third party sellers, as well as selling direct to the public. Then the rest of the world gets it. We ordered/got our DX01 and DX02 from the Forbidden Planet branch in Coventry City centre and those arrived whole months after everyone else got theirs.

You pays your money, you makes your choice.

yeah...+100$ or more if you're not from the States. FedEx gouges you with hidden fees. Not recommended to buy from SIdeshow if you're from another country

lucky! unfortunately i live in london and have to pay £10 for delivery which aint that bad considering its next day, ill probably be using him as my main person to get figures from, from now on lol

You guys should look at fashion doll (and accessory) prices* if you think premium 1/6 action figures are expensive. Even better, look at collectible 1/6 designer furniture. OUCH. $800 for a 1/6 Eames Lounge.

*I only know because of the cross-over when looking for accessories to compliment my current 1/6 build-outs (classic 60's Bond for example). I really hope my daughter doesn't land on the fashion doll side of this hobby if she gets the bug.

no kidding! furnishing a space for these toys is more expensive than the toys themselves. have managed to find good deals on "defects" and auctions, but by and large the nice-end 1/6 furniture market is brutal.
