The very fact that I've seen ZERO in-hand shots of her around the internet would indicate to me a later, rather than sooner release date. I really hope I'm wrong.

Yeah, I'm anxious to see if the fig looks as amazing in-hand as its prototype pics would suggest.

If the HT Bane is any indication, it will be epic!

Yeah, I'm anxious to see if the fig looks as amazing in-hand as its prototype pics would suggest.

If the HT Bane is any indication, it will be epic!

Im interested to see what they did with the neck though as the prototype pictures were photoshopped dont know why lol

We shall see in due time, I guess. Visible joints don't bother me that much at all.

Probably why I really like the Bane, too. I plan on adding him to my collection very soon.

and we'll get the answer to the burning question regarding the mask as well.

i don't care about the joints or even if the neck is weird (though there seems no reason it should be), but i still really really hope the mask is removable.

My thoughts exactly. If the figure was a DX then yes understandable request, but really I want a Catwoman figure. Doesnt bother me if it is removable or not.

Actually, it's a "Selina Kyle - Catwoman" figure, not a "Catwoman" figure.

People want a removable mask because it allows more display options for this figure. It would also allow us to more easily bash other figures using the head.

Why not want it? It would be such a simple ammendment to the existing sculpt to make the mask removable. It's a wasted opportunity.

as others already said, it's not a CATWOMAN figure. it's a selina kyle figure and she didn't always wear the mask.

and...it would be fun to have options!!!

Everyone forgot to mention, because it costs $174 it should be EXPECTED that the mask is removable. This isn't a MacFarlane statue (oh, do I mean action figure?) after all.

If it were a DX I'd expect the skin-tight suit to come off by itself with the press of a hidden button.

There is no reason to think the mask is removable. I think it would CLEARLY have been stated in specs and it was not. Why they didn't make it that way....don't know. I don't think HT will suddenly change this figure.

Because I want a representation of Catwoman. not Selina Kyle. My preference, I agree they could have made it removable, Its not asking much. But the figure is what it is and is good enough for me.

I am sure with enough interest someone in the custom thread could do a HS and goggle set separate if people want it that much...

It's not like this figure has a lot of accessories, or a second headsculpt (which used to be standard in Batman MMS figures, not just DX figures).

And it's priced more than DX figures used to be priced.

Asking for a removable mask is completely reasonable.

I wanted the mask to be removable just to see what likeness they got off of Anne Hathaway.

The hair from the pics looks spot on to the film.

Is it true Selina won't be out until May? Which means SS won't have her until June?

SSC website now has her listed as MAY, no longer says MARCH.
