In any case with CW there's NO CHANCE of hiding the join, her hair is combed right back. EDIT: Pennyworth mentioned the same thing right before me.
No point trying to have her hair flare out towards the sides to cover the joint.

What I don't understand is this: why don't they simply follow the natural line of the jawline to the mastoid process behind the ear as the "cut off" for the head sculpt? Pretty sure that HT have done this with many other previous figures?? That 'neck stump' is unnecessary and stupid, very Medicom...

That is exactly what I wonder...

If they don't fix that, i'm going to have to mod it along those lines anyway

I dunno, Catwoman had her hair back and her neck showing throughout most of the film.

Would be sort of difficult to hide that wouldn't it? Unless everyone has the hair coming over her shoulders.

Agreed. Though I'd say this figure has more "life" in it compared to the recent James Gordon and the DX 12 Bruce head sculpts.

This one doesn't look asian though. Unless the mask is removable . . .

For starters, those pics aren't great as examples - look at those wacky things!!!

Secondly - CW's hair seems softer & straighter than the Sarah Connor there.. & Sarah's hiding the neck a little at least. I'd say it's a consideration anyway..

Well my issue with the hairline is the lame painted bit - I think that should be got rid of altogether.

That I will agree on. The painted bit seems unnecessary. I can see it helping from a distance to try to create the seamless look but not up close

I see what your saying and you have a good point. It's the fact that the hairline is so bad that it has to be brought up. It's the only thing I see when I look at the figure. Her face looks like a mask almost.

over on the sideshow FB page i asked when would we see the catwoman preorder....well i asked if it was gonna be soon, and sideshows response was, "if winter is soon then yes". idk if they thought i ment the LS figure, Hottoys figure, or the sideshow 1/6th figure.......but...we now know one is gonna be later this year. i would like to think that the ht cat woman would be released sooner than that. like maybe...this FRIDAY!!!! idk...we shall see.

Ditto. From the sounds of it, the OP didn't specify which catwoman he/she was asking about, and of that is indeed the case, I'd wager that SS would inherently assume the OP was asking about one of their own products not one by another company

That would coincide with the fact that HT said we'd see the Batman Returns figures in December. Although they also said it would be Batman and Penguin, no mention of Catwoman yet.

What if you get captured because you're injured by shrapnel from a rocket powered grenade. Then a complete stranger is forced to perform surgery on you to stop the shrapnel from reaching your heart by inserting an electromagnet into your chest; which is powered by a car battery. Then the CEO of HT gives you a bunch of 1/4 scale figure parts and says you must make this: and points at a picture of a 1/4 scale Enterbay Batman. But instead you take the figure parts and create a Mk. I Iron Man. And then I stop typing cause I don't know where this story is going.

Sorry 'bout that... just finished watching Iron Man on FX for the bazillionth time. I think it's the only movie that network has on DVD.
