I don't think that will change.
It's the way HT does their female rooted hair heads. The heads are not one solid piece, but two: the face and jaw plate and the entire top and back of the head that hold the rooted hair.
So that ugly neck line is not going anywhere...
They probably will fix the color, but even that isn't a certainty.

But look at it from the positive side: if you don't like the rooted hair, it'll be pretty easy to take the head apart and commission somebody to sculpt the hair for ya!

I would really hope they would fix the mis-colored neck. It doesn't seem the other HT females with rooted hair suffer from that problem so I don't see why they wouldn't fix that at least.

At the rate HT is dealying stuff this will be 2nd or even 3rd qtr 2013 release......................by then a Batman reboot will be well along...

I really hope they change her body.. and the goggles
the face its ok but the body is everything to me, if her hips and her legs don't look good then I'll feel really bad losing money on her :S

I think I'm going to pass on this. Yes it surprisingly looks really good, as does The new DX Batman figure also, but the more and more I think about it, the more I hate the movie and I'm just disappointed by how much it sucked so I think I'll just pass on the line altogether. Was looking forward to Bane until I saw how lame he ended up being in the film.

That's how I felt about Avengers and cancelled my Hot Toys preorders. Okay action movie, nothing I need to spend $1k+ on to display in my collection. Felt the opposite about Dark Knight Rises and have them all on preorder.

Already passed on the Avengers. The movie sucked. The more I watch the DVD the more I hate it.
