What seam are you talking about Chris?

I think he's talking a out the shadow around the collar bone. Is it just a shadow or is there an additional joint there. Might be a new joint so she can look up when on the Batpod.

I hadn't noticed it in prior photos and never having owned a female fig, I wasn't sure how HT usually does it, but I thought there was a molded neck there and a neck-less sculpt that attached. This makes it look like there is a neck piece that attaches to a post and then the sculpt. Am I ? The photo on the right taken at the show doesn't seem to show it....

That's an odd place for a shadow.
I hope there's not a seam at that area.

The posture does look great standing on the rock, very natural.

At this point I'm out for any TDKR stuff, but maybe this will sway me once the in-hand pics start popping up in about a year's time.

Very nice body proportions, hopefully she will be able to lean more on the bat pod.

And please tell me that ****ing rock doesn't come with the figure! Hopefully it's there just to show the figure's leg articulation

Looks like shes going to come with a gun since she's holding it in the rock photo. I will probably buy this since Im skipping on bane, since bane looks horrible.

Im excited ...I just hope shes under the $250 mark.

No kidding man.
If I recall correctly, Origins Wolverine was $169, now they want a less than stellar figure in comparison to the first one and want $235.
So they're charging people $66 for the base?!

HT are turning into Apple, barely any competition so they think they can do whatever the **** they want If the rock was relevant to a movie scene then I wouldnt mind (despite it not being anything close to a stand) but that chunk of plastic is just a waste of space that we will have to pay for

and yeah I heard about the wolverine's overpricing, outrageous if they do the same trick with catwoman she will cost $300 for guys like me in UK!

Anyone remember when HT Dutch pics came out? He was stepping on a rock too. They had to specify "rock not included"! I'm sure this will be the same. Why the heck would they include a rock???

That rock pic should just be for conveying the articulation on this figure. It's not like she ever went all Captain Morgan in the film.

Granted this isn't over priced like Wolverine, this might be the only regular MMS TDKR figure I buy.


The deterrents will be price and/or ugly seams (double neck seams, hair sculpt/line seams etc.)

I think she looks awesome and I'm glad a decent amount of articulation is possible with the suit.

I wouldn't be surprised if the rock is included as a special base meant to justify a high price tag. It seems to me that the general Hot Toys strategy is to include cheap to produce worthless and pointless accessories or bases in order to justify highly increased price tags. You all know this as "DX" but they also do it with all sorts of other figures too.

I believe it mentions something to the effect of 9,800 Yen(I could be wrong) but I think $130 for this figure seems right.

BUT I think she'll be the same amount as Bane.
