Who cares if the ****s are round or square ? This Fig is awesome and everbody realizes that this supposed to be Hellboy.

Yeah, I don't care about small issues like that because I don't even think of the chest as being an issue.

The only reason I would be a bit hesitant taking on this figure is the rubber and the life it will have.

his skin color should be yellowish too. more realistic that way. red?? what the hell are they thinking? in fact hottoys should make all their figures more realistic now. accuracy be damned.

*yawn* Not what I meant. I am just saying that it looks great as is. So what if the chest isn't accurate, it does look natural for the piece... yeah it looks more real. Know what you're saying, why not stop there.. go more with a human skin texture...yeah yeah... get rid of the horns, and the big hand... Just saying that his chest isn't a problem. Don't make more out of my post than what it is. Just a person suggesting that it's decent enough.

I noticed that many of the High End Figs got issues. Medicom Darth Vader for example ... Son Goku ...

I think that the Body will be very delicate. I read that a little Protection will make a Muscular Body last longer. But hey ... Nothing will Last forever ...

I got a huge DVD Collection. And thinking of the Fact that even DVDs last only 10 - 20 years gives me chills.

i'm not saying hottoys hellboy is not a great figure. it IS. but when someone said the hboy 2 pf is "waaay skinny", and think this one is not, then i reserve the right to call that bulls*it.

Sure you do ... but you have to accept other peoples opinions as well.

but my point is, any figure/statue should always strive to be as accurate to its screen counterpart as possible. you saying the figure is better because it's "more realistic" than the film's version just seems like an odd comment to me.

I like the HBII PF as well. To be honest, If I had the Money I would buy the PF also. But I never bought a PF and I know that I will get addicted to PFs when I have my first one ... I will stick to 1/6 and admire the PFs from a distance.

but my point is, any figure/statue should always strive to be as accurate to its screen counterpart as possible. you saying the figure is better because it's "more realistic" than the film's version just seems like an odd comment to me.

I didn't mean it was better, but I personally think that aspect of the design could go either way... I can do with or without.

Either way, the chest shouldn't be a big enough issue whether or not you get this figure. The biggest issue and main concern for all of us, and like other HT products using the rubber body, is how long will it hold up with time? For 165 US that is a concern and potential issue that is very important when considering the cost.

P.S. Not upset with you cr', we're good.

i personally think this hellboy is one of the best 12 in figures i have ever seen. A few of my friends saw these pics and thought it was a screenshot.

Actually just noticed this post. How is the new HellBoy II PF skinny? I think he has the appropriate size. I agree the figure comes off a bit skinny, especially in the neck area. But they are both great pieces. So either one will look awesome in anyone's collection.

not upset with you either. after all, we're just talking about TOYS. yup rubber body is big concern. maybe if we could restrain ourselves from playing with it. just fix it into one good pose and leave it at that.

It has happened to earlier Hot Toys figures like Rambo I or II but so far no news of it happening to the later figures using the rubber bodies.

So hopefully it holds up.
