Damn Shortround, that is some serious kickass Bats combo you got there! Very cool man.

I didnt have an issue with the neck also, but I must admit, the pics with the rolled up electrical tape in between the shoulder armor looks more natural. Will do that mod soon.
Well done Mags..

The neck on the DX12 is only baaaarly to long. I can see why some who prefer a stock figure would think it was fine. If I futz the cape to be piled up on the shoulders, the stock neck looks fine (I actually prefer that to the grommet removal mod on page 1 - always thought that looked too short and hindered articulation). But the shoulder lifting mod is just right to my eye.

I'll never understand how someone could say either of the necks on the DX02 were okay though...

I was originally gonna remove the grommet in the neck but after seeing several pics of it removed, the neck looks short in my opinion.
The thing is I think most of the neck are not pushed all the way in. When I got mine, I though the neck was long, but then I pushed it in hard enough and it started to look much better so I was very much like Gipetto content and thought there are no issues with the neck, but as I mentioned, your mod thus indeed make the neck look more natural.

Now the dx02 have always had a crappy neck and you can only get away with it by displaying it where it can only be seen from the front with the head down.
Any display of it from the sides and the skinny neck starts to show...badly.

No more. I've done so many alterations. I am tired of working on this figure. :lol I think these newly sculpted eyelids will be my last, except filling in the should plate gap.

How did you mod it?

Is it just me or that mod made him look happy?

It's the happy face plate that makes him looks happy. :lol

Good start, but I think the teeth still makes it look a bit odd.

I tried something similar last week when I was working on my open-mouthed face plate, but still wasn't happy with the result so I scrapped it.

:lol I've never liked the sonar head, and the neck makes it look even worse.

Looks awesome. When are you gonna spill the beans about the kevlar connectors?

Soon. I was going to talk about it yesterday, but then I realized that I wanted to tweak them a bit more. :lol

Tomorrow at the latest, I promise!

Theres no top teeth, i took it off and did the heat a cool trick to press the lips down a bit.

I do gotta admit, its still not that good. or didnt come out the way I wanted... youre right plasmid.. teeth make it look goofy still. I wanted to go for a relaxed open mouth look bale usually has.. but no luck.

the cool thing is it's reversible... theres no cutting involve, you just gotta play with it till the glue comes off. you can just glue the teeth back on from the back if you wanted to go back to stock.

So the teeth are a separate piece.. or rather two separate pieces? Interesting.

yeah, its in the back of the mouth piece. the top layer is a thin strip, while the bottom teeth houses the round cylinder thing that attaches to the cowl.
