Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

So they'll go to that but not attend the biggest geek event in the world this week?

In there defense (I know I know)

They may not have registered for SDCc in time......

They tried but the people in charge of the venue wouldn't accept a rendered version of the application.

Another example of why they are not quite ready for prime time yet...

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

For me it wouldnt make any sense. They could only show three Figures. Lennon, Wonka and Jack Burton. They would waste alot of money. I hope the really show the Prototype next week.

Wonka and Burton aren't ready there isn't a full proto of either yet that was confirmed!
So going on just possibly having Lennon to display would be pointless.

Interesting some people know lot more than you give credit for.
I believe the full reveal of Lennon is coming this week but could be wrong.

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

Its expensive to be part of the comic con.

And it's also hard to get booth space. Star Ace, Asmus and QMX all have to buddy up with bigger, longer-established toy companies to be able to show off their product at the con. Even Hot Toys shares with Sideshow.

Sure, Molecule8 could have gone to Sideshow's booth though, so it's not really that good an excuse. They just likely don't have anything ready. :lol

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

Since molecule 8 products are more an idea than physical tangible objects you could argue that they were there....they're all around you, you just have to close your eyes and see them with your minds eye

This is a great point...I am fairly confident that somewhere at SDCC was EXACTLY what M8 will be shipping...some empty space or nothingness if you prefer...

I don't have much of an opinion on the glass stand, but I do want to see that guitar finished. I do like the velvet jacket, but I'm going for the **** Cavett look.

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

It's weird that the picture of the front of the figure they picked an unpainted sculpt, but the picture from the back is a painted sculpt.lol Also, judging by the body on the table it looks like the sculpt will now indeed be neckless.lol Just adding one more joint that will be visible, while the ones we WON'T see are made jointless. WTF.lol

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

Looks nice. But that's not the sculpt they usually show.

I thought they said these would be made in the US?

What's that object that's blurred out -- like a mummy on the table?
