Maybe they forgot and thought that they were making a David Byrne from Talking Heads figure...jacket looks about the right size for that...

Maybe as a collector's public service we should start a countdown to 180 days so no one who gave M8 money accidentally forgets to get it back from Paypal...I think it may be down to three months give or take...there is no way anything is shipping from M8 between now and October / November...

They're a UK company. Where they have actual production factories/offices is anybody's guess.

Their UK "office" could just be a company registration and a forwarding PO box. That actually isn't exactly uncommon in the business world...

They are still in the prototype stage on the entire figure, and they plan to mass produce for the first time over a thousand of them with the next month or 2?

Some, possibly wishful thinkers, have suggested that the prototypes have been well finished, that this is in production, and they're just rolling out the old production photos slowly to build up hype until the figure is delivered. I don't think this is the case, and don't see a lot of logic to that. But. . .

See that's the ****. It would have been brilliant to announce this figure knowing you already had it in production. Start showing all those progress pictures from a year ago or so. Whetting everyone's appetite at how amazing those progress pictures are put up the pre-orders and bam; May hits and it's released. That would have put them in the category of a new company changing how things work.

This is a kick starter company as many have stated. Nothing has been revolutionized.

And as for the waiting 6 months, its nothing for a figure, it will be quicker than most others im waiting for.

All the rest show you a figure and not a word for over a year, unless its to tell you its delayed.

I like the constant stream of info, makes a change from hearing diddly squat.

I like the constant stream of info, makes a change from hearing diddly squat.

Constant stream of honest and accurate information would be better...no one minds the wait the issue is a company putting a figure up and insisting repeatedly that it would be released in May and given many chances to simply say "we are working hard to get it out as quickly as we can" yet still doubling down on May. Then saying "we are delaying to allow retailers to participate..?" Silence is better than inaccurate information.

Good to see another positive person....I thought that myself if they can get it done by August -October I'd be happy I'm not complaining.

Really dig the base especially being magnetic. Wonka is the one everyone wants especially with the 2 sculpts and Ompa! I'm getting wonka, lennon and the Piano.
