Looking forward to seeing final production inhand reviews on these figures! If they are produced as well as they look in these photos, it would seem HT as finally got a competitor that can match it in terms of realism I think.

They have already had that since Blitzway released their Carlito's Way figure years ago as far as realism is concerned...they just cannot compete with Hot Toys' volume.

i think blitzway is still a long way behind hot toys in terms of costum tailoring, articulations, and durability.

I've listened to the podcast. From the start it's clear Vijay is a fan who wants to push boundaries and maintain industry price points. He mottles through a few question but I think he's just retaining some of the surprise factor. Will they deliver? That's hard to say. He's definitely passionate about making good products for collectors. So I hope they pull it off.

This all sounds great, but I'll interested when I see an actual pre-order for a M8 figure. Good to know the potential for new companies coming out. Hopefully someone can give HTs some real competition. It would be nice to have genres outside of Star Wars, Marvel, DC and Disney for a change. There are some companies out there but not enough. I would love to see a K.I.T.T. from Knightrider made for starters, hopefully BW nails the Ecto 1.

I've been in contact with Molecule8 and was notified that Sideshow will be handling US distribution.

Guess they were right. Sideshow has it up now for preorder.
