I think m8 posted on their forum that they will not have their Lennon head on display or anything else. They will not be attending sdcc

Isn't SDCC this month?

I wonder if they will show Wonka and Lennon in all 3 outfits along side Sideshow's booth?

I know Blitz had a small display at the last event.
I'm not sure how to feel about this but I'm remaining positive I will see what August brings.

I am sure that some on this thread will claim that others are being unfair to M8 but M8 did it to themselves...if they had never promised a release a month after the pre-order went up...which they knew at the time they were never going to be able to deliver....simply listed its release as Q3-Q4 2017 and then quietly disappeared (no talk of pianos, guitars, etc...) they would be seen in a far different light today...but as some have pointed out, they had to keep trying to shake the tree to get more money to fall out and here we all are...

If there is no final product yet, there is no way they would get estate approval in time to ship anytime soon. They delayed a month for the guitar...how the heck could they even manufacture those in a month?

It could be that they are already in production and are simply not showing the proto or any product. Why they would do that is anyone's guess. Perhaps they want to "wow" the collector community by not following the standard procedure of showing a proto and then waiting a year (or more) and then releasing the product.
Initially, I was hoping that was the case. This figure was started a year or so ago didn't show or say anything about it until it was a month or two before release. Sadly, this company is more smoke and mirrors than anything of substance at the moment. They haven't revolutionized anything. This figure will be released and be of the same quality as what's expected in the market. If anything they may prove we are being price gouged up the wazoo.

So if they are still refining things that means this stuff isn't being replicated in a factory yet, correct? If that's the case it's going to be a very long wait. I read on FB that production is slow on things in China as it is right now.
