There is nofigure.....this is a delay tactic to get those Paypal dollars....

they are going to release the figure this month, but still no prototype shown!
i think they are going to push back the release date again, but what is the excuse this time?
dont they need customers feedback on a prototype to make improvement before releasing the figure?

Saw this figure for sale/preorder on ebay, showing the ornate cowboy boots and sandals,the two headsculps,glasses yellow tinted,endosqueleton and the only know full figure photo, the one with the army shirt in the white box....and a shoot of the front/cover of the white box...seems they are pushing this every avenue they can think off, but at ebay sales post looks and give the impresion that the figure is already in production and final...no mention of a guitar.

Pre-orders went up on April 25th, 180 days gives them util October before PayPal protection expires.

That 3% transaction fee is what allows PayPal to take the hit. That's why it frustrates me to no end to see people paying via PayPal willy nilly without evaluating the seller, they say "Oh, I have 180 days". It's like "No, you don't. You're paying for other peoples' mistakes"

Obviously, if M8 is smart, they're pulling money out of their PayPal account every week or month or so, so PayPal doesn't put a hold on all their money. But honestly, in big cases like this, I don't know if they have a collection service. With the global nature of their business, I highly doubt it. It's not like they're calling up banks all around the world and putting liens on accounts.

Not sure what you are saying. I was referring to the position they have put themselves in and how they are trying get more capital, in my opinion.

Every merchant account takes a transaction fee. That's one of the many ways they make money. It's not necessarily to squirrel away money for dead beats and it certainly wouldn't go away if there were no dead beats.

What I'm actually curious about is what will happen when tons of people start clamoring for their money back. I wonder if PayPal will say 'you have to wait for Molecule8 to do something in breach' before you can claim a refund. I'm quite certain Molecule8 is well versed with PayPal and how to manipulate them too.

I know Blitz had a small display at the last event.
I'm not sure how to feel about this but I'm remaining positive I will see what August brings.
