Hah agreed. The accessories are a great nod to the early comics, which were great. I mean these turtles ARE the comic turtles. The colored headbands really should have been the exclusives imo. Those headbands were created for the cartoon, so they aren't really a match for these figures to me, so I could do without them.

I've been feeling the exact same way. then i remember leonardo isn't going to start shipping until likely 2nd quarter of next year, and i realize the wait is going to be way too agonizing for the figure itself, so i might as well stop checking twice a day for preorder news. i know mondo said theyd start shipping 1st quarter of next year, but i've already learned to just double the time period mondo sets as goals.

I know the pain you guys are feeling. fortunately for me, I'm going to wait until at least one of these is released to start buying them. I'm still not too sure how Mondo is with figures, and with these being basically upscaled NECA turtles, I'm not that anxious to get them.

I really hope they turn out to be awesome, since I'm totally down to get them if they're worth the price.

So if you had to choose: How many of you would go with the full set of Mondo Turtles with accessories - over the full set of NECA turtles with street scenes, Mousers and April? I'm in a quandary....

Considering what the NECA Turtles to for these days I would definately go for Mondo.

I still think the NECA are superior to the Mondo Turtles. I would suspect the mondo will be more immediately affordable so it depends on your financial situation.

I think I would still go for Mondo since it will fit better in scale with the rest of my collection. And the skin variations I think is a nice homage to the old action figures.

You can probably find some bootlegs of the NECAs, so maybe getting the official Mondos is the power move

Mondo personally. Like was mentioned, the scale fits better with my collection. That's why I have my neca turtles sitting in a box in my basement collecting dust. They're basically oddballs. I'm sure I'll put them out again one day but who knows.

Can't wait for mondo to finally put Leo up for PO.

I hear you on the skin tone - i get why they did it, and it looks great on leonardo and donatello, but only okay on michelangelo and awful on raphael. it might actually keep me from buying them at this point. the thing that keeps me coming back is that THIS line is potentially open-ended. We might actually get a casey jones or shredder to go with THESE turtles.
