Arrived last night~
Some QC issues (emblem's lower right legs are a joke and loose ankles) but definitely worth it. Swapping out hands and head are surprisingly easy vs the other Mondo figures I got.

WTF is with that whole right side of the logo? Looks like a paint job by a bad customizer! Mondo continues to disappoint in the paint department, these are very basic paint applications and for the money they are asking for these animated figures they need to be doing better! That’s unacceptable and if mine looks like that he’s going back

I was going to say you are smoking joints if you think that paint job is bad...but I did a closeup of his emblem and the right side is SO BAD!!!!

Already emailed Mondo about it. Hopefully I can either get a replacement.

All of their MOTU figures have had decent paint applications, these animated paint jobs are so simplistic they should be absolutely knocking them out of the park EVERY time. Are they using a different factory for the animated figures? Couldn’t a simple single color logo like that be machine printed onto these figures? I could understand if the painting required various levels of shading and intense detailing and whatnot but these are so straightforward.

Paint not perfect , not sure if it’s worth sending considering there’s probably going to be alot of this

Oof. What's wrong with the paintwork on these, it should be perfect for the price and what they offer. That's a shame really..

Also the box art looks so weird wtf

Should be getting my blk suit this week. When I have times I will have to inspect.

Sometiems I open and don't look at all the details...because moving soon...won't be surprised if I have some bad releases in my collection.

Finally opened up Spidey (red and blue)... it's not just me, right? The two head sculpts look basically identical?

Are loose ankle joints grounds for asking Mondo for a replacement body?

Most of the other Mondo figures have stiffer ankle joints but was wondering if Mondo purposely made the Spider-Man looser for easier articulation.

I only have the regular Spidey so far (Symbiote is being delivered by DHL later today).

Just saw this rant video a few moments before the Symbiote arrived, which BTW has the exact same loose ankle joints.

The QC issues on my Spider-Man are not as egregious as the video review but I have noticed some more paint issues after examining it more closely.

but I did not get oily substance problem or 2 right arms like the YT reviewer.

I'm Posing the figure more and yes it has loose ankles out the box.

The right shoulder. was hard to move...had to boil water a couple times to get it to work.

All that said, it's a nice looking figure...posing it it does feel good...but the ankles are a big problem and the paint on the right shoulder is uneven...

The original fear or birthing hips are gone

I drenched their ankle joints in pledge floor polish and they are great now.. shouldnt have had to do that but

The ab crunch I expected to be better. It the actual crunch is great but the waist should've been a ball joint instead, just looks to be a straight swivel.
