Hello, The Thing is.....Is it possible you may create accessory parts for MacReady?Haha good point. That's on me. I was just excited to post it and my John Carpenter brain went straight to horror.

I can't say I'm sold on MacReady yet, but this? If the production piece is even close, I'm all in, baby. Put me down for two!
This is a super fair assessment. I agreeI like how Mondo is tackling some of the more niche franchises. Even the Megan figure has me intrigued.
Their head sculpts seem to be blend of realistic and caricature - not Hot Toys or InArt level accuracy but it is still obvious who the actor is.
Although you pay upfront, at least the Mondo figures tend to ship in a relatively quick turnaround time window. They are probably going to wait until Spring/Summer to launch preorders for this guy at the very earliest in my opinion. Probably want to put some space between Macready and Nada. Also makes sense for me as a collector since figures ain’t cheap and Mondo wants all their money up front
Sure enough, I don’t even mind!Although you pay upfront, at least the Mondo figures tend to ship in a relatively quick turnaround time window.
Usually, i don’t think Mondo has those long Hot Toys type 1-2 year wait between PO and release.
I think the MOTU Battle-Cat even shipped immediately (if you ordered in the 1st batch.
I'm kind of wondering/hoping they get through Mac first and any bumps in the road with the realistic figure versus their other releases before getting Nada finalized.any news on nada? the wait for this figure is killing me...
What bumps?I'm kind of wondering/hoping they get through Mac first and any bumps in the road with the realistic figure versus their other releases before getting Nada finalized.
And you're expecting the Nada release to be any different? What bumps?
Chinese factories capable of making good quality 1/6 figures are well known. Mac looks Barby cheap, so it's supposed to be easy to make. The only redeeming quality of the prototype used to be exceptional paintjob by Viola, but they WILL butcher it, there is no way a factory cannot replicate that.
In my view there is nothing to learn from Mac release. It's too basic
MONDO claims they will replicate the paint job on the sculptWhat bumps?

Nada, I'm afraid.any news. . .?

Ok sure. So if that will be crap, then this will be crap. What are you even asking about it then if you expect crap?
Low-quality prototypes like Mac indicate a final product of a similar or worse quality, while Mid-to-Good quality prototypes like Nada could vary between exceptional and mediocre during mass production. And you're expecting the Nada release to be any different?
Hand paint>>>Factory. One can hope it would be close enough.MONDO claims they will replicate the paint job on the sculpt
