well, thats a bull____ presumption so it seems because even DCD version have oil leaks people say on the board, so there you have it

And he confirmed it is the latest batch, true or not, I give him the benefit of the doubt since its from end 2010, doubt it is a 2nd batch figure huh.
These were his answers to questions I had:

Hi, no problem. awaited for your purchase. and i confirm that the figure is 100% brand new, never been played with. There is no oil spots, no glue spots and no paint spots. All hands and legs, parts and accessories are correct. no problem. thank you.

Whatever you say dude, I hope you're right and I'm wrong. As far as the DCD version having oil leakage, of the thousands sold only a handful have reported any oil. Unlike the second batch that was the opposite where only a handful of people reported not having any leakage.

You assume that I've not dealt with this problem, I've bought three DX Batmans, the first two I bought from Hong Kong sellers that told me the same thing your guy told you and they both had near perfect ratings, but both showed up having oil leaking. So that was me speaking from my experience and not presumption. I wasn't saying every HK seller is like that, but to just be careful. Again you assume I'm mad or upset, but I'm not, just point out that your post comes off a little on the defensive side and a little rude.

Like I said dude I wasn't mad or anything, I'm pretty chill 99.9% of the time. There are some really sensitive people on here though so I would suggest choosing your word carefully. I learn that the hard way, and trust me it's a real pain in the butt. I don't want anyone to deal with that if they don't have to. It makes posting not so fun.

Finally finished my mod on my DX Batman's head. I took the whole head apart and redid the eyes, widened the cowl, and used the V1 TDK mouth in place of the DX mouths since the V1 has a better size mouth area.

Nice work - one critique if I may, agree 100% that the Dx mouth area is too narrow, but rather than use the v1 which does not have a great likeness IMO, I think you should try sculpting your own mouth piece - if your joker is anything to go by, you could certainly do a super job

@ void: I thought about that, but after holding the V1 and DX mouths side by side they look almost identical except for the size. Plus I just haven't had the time to sculpt a new one and for now it works well enough for what I was going for. At this point I'm not to worried about it, the Batman heads are pretty decent in size and likeness I think. Perhaps in the future I might get a wild hair up my butt and sculpt my own, we'll see.

The heads pretty cool all taken apart. It's five parts the cowl, the mouth, the eyeballs, a rubber piece with the sculpted eyelids that the eyes pop into, and a piece that looks like a collar that has the metal piece on it to attach it to the neck magnets. I should have taken pics, but I forgot. It was neat though.

Great work man. I never pulled the trigger on DX Bats, as I was never quite happy with it. If he had looked like that from the beginning though, I don't think I could have resisted.
