Hey all, a little update. I know I said the sculpt was done however while I'm waiting till I can afford the stuff to cast it I've made some refinements. I'm hoping to have a finished prototype with hair by the end of the month.

That is really super work, amazing improvement from the last time - one thing that I think can be improved further is the left ear (when facing him), the right ear seems great and is pointed slightly backwards which is accurate, but the left ear is not aligned the same way and doesn't seem to be pointing back the same way, if you get what i mean.

Otherwise it really does look awesome, and will look even better with the hair

Thanks guys, glad you like it so far, and thanks Void I know the ears still need some attention. I've been focused on getting the face right so far. Finished heads will be $120, that's with hair and painted. Also offering unpainted with hair for $100. I'm taking note of anyone who wants to buy one and will start a separate tread for this with an interest list after I have a finished prototype. Thanks again!!

I have done the neck already ..but you said you cut the rubber where it meets the chest and padded it out (i have heard of no body doing it that way but you)..did you cut away the black plastic under the chest armor like the toyworld guy did?..i don't want to do that.

Can i see a close up pic of your ironman without his chestplate on?

Okay, I got you. I modified his mod to make it better. Basically it the same mod, but I traced along the bottom of the chest under the outer chest plate with a fine sharpie. Then took the torso apart and cut along the sharpie mark with a exacto knife. Padded the abs and put it all back together. By cutting away the excess rubber and padding well at the top where the abs meet the chest the rubber abs become flush with the chest under the outer plate making it more film accurate. I'll post some pictures up later today if I have time. Hope that helps.

Thats for that dude..i get it now ..but ya if you have time some pics would be much appreciated as i would not like to give this mod a go without seeing some pics first.

I'm trying to make a "gulmira" Ironman , i already weathered him useing a weathering kit and i made the neck shorter useing geils mod, i'm also going to buy the some parted out jointed hands from the IV when its released and put them on the mark 3 ..if they fit that is.

You mean make a wig for him or attaching the red hair to the head?

Well I was thinking attach the hair to the head, but maybe a wig makes more sense. But I don't think you would want to put the red wig over the green hair as it would be to bulky. Maybe just make the red variant look more wig-like.
