doc ock would be great when done by ht! as would spidey.

colossus would rock too. but only the x2 version. he looked kinda lame in x3.

If HT ever gets the rights to the comic versions, I`m screwed big time.

This is a Movie Masterpiece licence.

Fine.

I guarantee you that the Ryan Reynolds Wade Wilson is on the lower end of the totem pole to be a figure. IF we see Deadpool from Wolverine: Origins it'll be this:

Give me a black sharpie, an HT muscle body, and a pair of red track pants and I'll give you 90% of a barakapool figure.

I agree with Mike, people may like Wade better than Deadpool in Origins, but as far as a figure line, HT's more likely to make the mutant looking, non-standard human version. With Deadpool you'd have the weird eyes, the blade hands, sure the rest is just muscle body and jogging pants, but I still think if any figure of the character is made they'll go that direction. I'd prefer a Wade as well, but I just don't anticipate it.

Agreed. I prefer Wade but the figure is simple. Deadpool wasn't well received in the movie but movie aside in terms of a 1/6th scale figure it has potential. Glowing red eyes, retractable blades along with the muntant look as a collectible it could be cool.

IMO Sabertooth may acompany Logan from Origins. Everyone else is doubtful.

To me, Sabertooth is the only other Origins character that's got a good chance of being made, I'd say Deadpool's less than 50% and Wade even less than that.

Honestly I would say the odds are:

Sabretooth 2:1
Wolverine Military w/ Bone claws: 4:1
Deadpool (Baraka form): 5:1
Gambit: 6:1
Deadpool (Wade Wilson): 12:1

Gambit before Wade and at those odds.:horror Wade would be so easy for them to make which may be incentive enough for them to do it.

Probably not :monkey2

Best news in a long time, especially after SS lack-luster Comic-Con offerings. Looks like HT is taking even more of my 1/6 budget. Bring on a 1/6 Beast! After seeing their Planet of the Apes stuff I know they will crush it.

I hope we see Hulk. Whether you liked either film or not, you got to admit a 20" figure on your shelf/table would be amazing. :drool

Yes, the Hulk needs to happen. However, they need to make it perfect or not at all. This means a Norton version, correct height, and most of all no joints to be seen anywhere (I don't care if the figure has limited articulation, i.e. Hellboy), which obviously needs a rubber material of some sort. The tricky part will be the veins and muscularity, not to mention the right skin texture.

It's a nightmare, but if any company can pull it off, it's Hot Toys for sure. Come on HT...thrill us. Please.

Nicolas Cage is pushing hard for a GR2 so I could see HT holding to see if it gets greenlit. As for Elektra I can see them using their Hot Angels line to complement instead of providing a new Elektra license for just one figure.

I could see them doing a Daredevil line with Daredevil, Matt Murdock, Electra (Black Outfit), Bullseye and Kingpin - only need the one licence for all those nice figures :)
