Sorry Danny.

So I got mine and while the color isn't bad, it's the lack of weathering that is extremely disappointing. It sucks that this material looks brand ^^^^ing new like he just unwrapped a gift from the Cave Troll. It's not nearly as red as many pics are showing but it's too 'clean'. I love the piece. An amazing sculpt and everything else is great. Too bad SS screwed the pooch on what could have rivaled Lurtz. All in all, an 8/10.

I got mine as an early birthday present on Christmas eve, and I was ready to see Red when I opened the box. While not as pronounced as some of the pictures on the board, the pleather and fabric part of the costume are certainly brighter than what I would have expected. The color isn't an issue for me as much as the "new" appearance of the material, and should have been more weathered. I had the same feelings about the 1:6 scale Aragorn too.

My orc has a quite dark complexion though, at least on his face. The skin tone on his arms and legs is the same green as what has been shown before, but my orc face looks like it is much darker and browner in appearance. This may be a variation from the exclusive to the regular, as I got the regular version from Alter Ego. I have to head out to work, but I'll try and get some pics this afternoon. Other than these two issues, it is a cool figure, and much bigger than I anticipated!

Here are some of the pictures of the Moria Orc. I used flash, but with crummy weather, it was too dark today to get any decent natural light. Again, the red doesn't bother me as much as the new look of any of the fabric pieces, and my Orc head looks quite a bit darker than the body, but maybe this is true for others as well.

Got number 84 yesterday and made some slight modifications. I went to the fabric store yesterday and spent a grand total of 84 cents on some nice looking fabric. Overall the red didn't bother me a bit but I needed some change and all I did was weather up some fabric, put two-sided tape on it and just laid it over. This is my rough draft and something I put together in about 10 minutes. This IMO opinion is the best exclusive in the line so far because I find myself changing it daily, possibly twice.:lol Buy it!

Sad that you had to go buy accessories for your $300 statue. Boo Sideshow for not even attempting to make it right.

I was charged $20 for canceling my flex-pay order, by the way. I'm never using flex-pay again, since there's no way to know for sure what the final product will be like with Sideshow.
