I'm still not regretting canceling too much. The sculpt really is awesome, but honestly I want the Tusken Raider PF more. The way it's looking though I'll probably have to cancel that as well due to funds.

Well after all is said and done seeing some of the in hand pics has encouraged me and I am definitely ordering this piece the sculpt is just too good and I don't have a clue how to do it but I will weather that leather myself, yeah we shouldn't have to do this but I can't be without this statue its just too evil and excellent!!

I hear ya! I guess it's easier to make something look old and dirty, than to fix something so it looks new. At least, I hope that's the case. Oh, and speaking of "too evil"... that was your 666th post! Creepy!!

Well, just got my moria orc pf and even though the clothing could be darker/more weathered, it is an amazing pf!!! I love it already...I'll post some pics later..

Not very good lighting at my place, but this statue is GREAT! Honestly those who cancelled will regret it. It sounds cliche I am sure, but the red isn't THAT red, not even close.

I'm glad your happy with it man, and honestly the red doesn't look too bad in that shot. Congrats, the statue as a whole still is pretty amazing. Maybe I'll still get one later down the road.

Well just cancelled mine... I'm getting a little irritated now with Sideshow and I cancelled everything except must-haves like the Iron Man bust. They are refusing to admit the error on this piece and refusing to replace my dark brown painted Indy PF. I wasn't a huge fan of the Moria anyhow but the prototype looked so awesome that I wanted the complete PF trio with Lurtz and Berserker, but with the change in material and color of the clothing and the overall look that I am not really sold on, it's an easy cancel for me now.

Hopefully nothing major happens with the Iron Man and Grievous busts... I'm pretty excited about those ones!

Well just cancelled mine... I'm getting a little irritated now with Sideshow and I cancelled everything except must-haves like the Iron Man bust. They are refusing to admit the error on this piece and refusing to replace my dark brown painted Indy PF. I wasn't a huge fan of the Moria anyhow but the prototype looked so awesome that I wanted the complete PF trio with Lurtz and Berserker, but with the change in material and color of the clothing and the overall look that I am not really sold on, it's an easy cancel for me now.

Hopefully nothing major happens with the Iron Man and Grievous busts... I'm pretty excited about those ones!

Yeah exactly, same here.. I have a couple of PFs, but I am all about the 1:1 stuff.

I can send it back for a refund, but I lose out on the initial shipping, customs duty, and taxes that I paid for the shipment AND I have to pay for shipping it back. That would be around $140+ total loss.

nah, you'll regret it in the end. SS will have alot left over, and refix/tweak a few things and sell another variant Ex. Maybe this time they can get it right. light Beige is not black, and clean is not weathered. I am not going to even bother about the missing chainmail. If they did add it, I wouldn't mind paying $50 more.

Black, chainmail? I must have missed that tangent it wasn't even on the prototype. I assume you are talking about a random shot of a Moria Orc that you found; we certainly have seen that there was quite a variation within their costumes.

As for regrets, no not one - not only was he close to free with my Rewards Points, but he looks great on display, perfect with Frodo.

Sucks that you would lose the initial shipping cost and would have to pay for return shipping on the Indy PF Faken. I guess SS doesn't think the dark tan is an actual problem. Like I said earlier it doesn't bother me as long as I have decent light on him, maybe it was their intention all along to make him that dark.
