Is there a list of the secrets so far? How to play secret characters, etc? I googled it and the info is all spread out, not just on one main list.

Thanks!

To fight Classic Reptile, in Ladder mode on the Pit 2 (night) stage, wait for a mysterious shadowy figure (Santa Claus) to fly over the moon, get double flawless on your opponent and perform a stage fatality on him/her and after the match, you'll fight Classic Reptile.

To fight Classic Smoke, in Ladder mode on the Living Forest Stage, wait for smoke to pop up from behind one of the trees, then immediately press Down + Back (360) or Down + Select (PS3) and your current opponent will explode, and you'll fight Classic Smoke.

To fight Classic Noob Saibot, in Ladder mode look to see if he's standing in the background on the Cathedral stage, if he is, do not perform any blocks during the 2nd round and he'll fight you after your opponent is beaten.

To fight Classic Jade, in Ladder mode you cannot lose a round to an opponent, and must get a double flawless victory against Shang Tsung and perform a fatality on him. Note: I've read you must perform a fatality (excluding stage or Babalities) on very opponent up to Shang as well but other say you don't. I'm not sure which is true but I imagine performing a fatality on you opponents won't hurt. Also if Shang hits you, don't restart right away, wait beat him and wait for the "Finish Him" mesage to pop up then return to Player Select and try again.

As ridiculous as some of these steps sound, I'm loving them. Mostly because they are like the urban legends people would tell you at the arcades / pizza places, about how to fight / play as all these made up or hidden characters.

Awesome, thanks! Will try some of these out next time. They do remind me of the old school MK2 rumors and BS that everyone used to talk about. ;)

I am seriously about to break my controller!!!!:gah:. I was trying to get a double flawless on Shang so I can fight Classic Jade and I almost had him and right before I go in for the kill, the bastard trips me:mad: I seriously threw my controller on the ground. Suprizingly I didn't break it but ******* while I love this game, it is damn frustrating at times. Anywho rant over.

Anyone heard of a confirmed release date for the first DLC yet? I heard a rumor that there might be a Fatality DLC package with new Fatalities for all the characters. Fingers crossed this rumor is true.

I really hate the fact that I suck so bad at this game that I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about Darth Fatso. So sad now. Sad, depressed, non-gamer, loser....so can we play online then:)

DLC's don't mean s^^t if you own a PS3..:lol:lol:lol
Eh...wait...I own a PS3..:slap..:monkey2:monkey2

Anybody want to beat my ass online? I seriously stink at this online so I'd like to practice against human players in a easy going social setting. It takes forever for me to find matches online.

So just trying to clear it up about unlocking Fatalities...

With Kratos 2nd Fatality, there is no listing in the Krypt...

Then I read back a few post in this thread saying, you find out the button moves then just perform the move and will it unlock that way?

Is this the same with Pit / Stage Fatalities, just perform it and it will unlock?

Thanks!

Not sure on Kratos as I've got the 360, but stage and babalities are just unlocked by performing them. After you do them they will appear on the list in the pause screen after that.

Not sure on Kratos as I've got the 360, but stage and babalities are just unlocked by performing them. After you do them they will appear on the list in the pause screen after that.

Thanks a lot to both of you! :)

Awesome!

Will get started on them tonight.

Thanks for the fatality list Darth, as it seems correct.

I looked up the moves on Cheatcc.com and IGN.com and I think there were a few mistakes here and there.

So I will use your list and cross check it.

So yeah, Shao Khan, what a f--king A-hole!

:lol @ Darth_Fatso avatar... Sorry :)

But I read about the retreat method and attack him from a distance for an easy win and it works and I have been using it.

So what's all your techniques on winning over him?

When fighting any boss in MK my way has always been to cheese them. They do it to me so I have no problem returning the favor. For example using Liu Kang, fireball the hell out of Khan. Low, high, low, high. Sounds dumb, but it works. :yess:

Anybody have a list of what stages have stage fatality's? I did the fatality on the street level and was blown away by the brutality (and awesomeness) of it. :)

For anyone that wants a cheap portable stratetgy guide check out the iphone/ipad app store. I bought the guide for $1.99 and it has all of the moves and secrets listed. They have been updating it daily. Can't say enough about it. Worth every penny when compared to buying a $20.00 guide or trying to get on the internet and remembering stuff. With this I can have my iPad opened up while playing with all the moves right at my fingertips.

The Pit 2 (Day and Night)
The Dead Pool
The Subway
The Living Forrest
The Netherrealm (Hell)
The Street
Chamber of the Flame (Krato's stage)

Great suggestion! Just downloaded it and it's extremely useful, as you said. Prima should be ashamed of themselves for charging $20 for that crap of a strategy guide.

True that!

Fire ball spamming :lol

I use Scorpion, just hang back and spear throw or teleport then through in a combo.

Finally got a double flawless on Shang :yess: Almost screwed it up by almost messing up the fatality. I tired one but wasn't getting it so I hurried and switched to the other and got it just in time. Whooped Jade's butt afterwards. So I think I have all of the secret fights done now.

Stryker. Best projectile spammer in the game. Its easier to get a flawless when they are across the screen from eachother. It really just comes down to which 2 fighters Shang morphs into. He was Sheeva and Sub-zero for the match I beat him. If he is a teleporter or another good projectile fighter, he usually sneaks in that one critical hit. Just keep doing it until you get it done is the key.
