I tried Stryker for awhile the other day and Shang allways used those damn floor fireballs. Ugh I'm seriously getting annoyed with this. I did get a double flawless on Shang with Sub-Zero by accident but I screwed up the fatality . I love this game but it's gonna cause me to go grey soon because of the frustration.

Oh man, that sucks! Like I said, I almost did that myself. I was going to use Stryker's grenade fataltity since there is no chance of accidentally hitting him with the right tigger finisher, but I kept screwing it up. So I hurried and tried the good ol' headshot fatality at the last minute and blew his head off. Very satisfying

You're on Beginner too right? That helps some

The key for me was to just keep back forward xing unless he jumped and had to fall to the floor, which would open me up to an attack when he gets back up. Just can't let him get a chance to do anything. Granted he always seems to get something by you. Just keep trying. You'll eventually get it.

Yeah I'm on beginner which is why it's so frustrating. Like I said a few posts back, I can usually get a flawless victory my first round but my second round he allways sneaks in a hit and it's allways a stupid little punch or kick that does very little damage but it's enough to ensure I won't get a flawless victory. What's even worse, is after he gets that hit in, he almost just stands there and lets me beat the crap out of him caues it's like the AI know the damage has been done and I'm gonna have to restart.

Any of you fought Noob Saibot yet?

As in Classic Noob?

You have to unlock him on one of the levels without blocking any of your opponents attacks...

If you have, he is so annoying with the f--king teleport pile driver move

He was the only secret fighter I couldn't beat. I fought him with Scorpion though, instead of insta-win Stryker.

I had an odd glitch with both Noob and Smoke though. I fought them as Classic Scorpion and when I hit one of them, the color leached over to them. So it ended up as a Scorpion vs Scorpion fight

I beat Noob once in one round and the next 2 rounds he handed my ass to me like it was no one's buisness. Honestly the fight with classic Noob, Reptile and Smoke are pretty easy to unlock. The one with Jade is killing me though!

That made no sense and dragged on WAY too long! What did we even learn, other than Raiden apparently is helpless to sedation?

This Kitana and Mileena looked ok (had more of a classic look to them rather than the more oversexed versions of the newer games) but Baraka and Shao Kahn looked atrocious. Like I've said before, Baraka looked like Yogurt from Spaceballs and I wouldn't have even known Shao Kahn was Shao Kahn if it hadn't been pointed out. Seriously Kahn's most iconic feature is his skull kabuto/helmet and the fact he didn't even have it was really annoying. Shao Kahn without his skull kabuto is like recoloring Scorpion pink. They might as well make Raiden some mental patient who is being constantly sedated and has no control of electricity and... oh wait, never mind.

Yeah if I have to be told who it is, then the design is fail. I accept Sonya, Jax and Johnny Cage and I'll even accept Kano but Kahn was flat out stupid looking and Baraka looks like something from LOTR. Kitana and Mileena are passable except for Mileena's mouth. They should have dumped the stupid drawing sequences and put some of Baraka's make up on her mouth to make it at least look consistent if they insisted on going with the hairy Uruk-hai look they chose for Baraka.

Not sure about over seas. However, my US copy of the game came with a card with a code for a free Kombat Pass. I'm assuming they are starting to do this to try to cut down on used game sales by making people spend $10 for the online pass if they buy a used game.

Understandable.....But I bought my game new. I guess I will also need a online pass from the same region the game came from. Trouble is I can't seem to find one on ebay from asia, heaps from USA and Canada.
