Even as a huge horror fan, almost the entire film The Devil's Rejects is just unwatchable for me. I guess it's because it just got too realistic in it's portrayal of killers.

The hotel scene especially is just horrible to behold. I have the movie, and I have only actually watched the thing twice. It was just too damn realistic and dark for me.... which is saying a lot. :lol

I did laugh at this scene because it was just so unexpected. :lol

Agreed...too dark, altho I do like House of 1000 Corpes! :lol

I take it nobody has seen "Antichrist", or "Human Centipede" 1 or 2?
Also, not so gruesome, but very disturbing was that scene in "The Road" when they discover those half dead people in the basement.
Also, somebody already mentioned "Martyrs". That movie was pretty jacked.

Saw both the Human Centipedes. The second one was dumb. I really didn't get disgusted at anything in those. I kinda laughed at the aburdity of them. :lol

You know what I'm actually the opposite & I would say that Devils Rejects is one of my favorite movies ever.

I simply adore it & can watch it over & over again.
I can't put my finger on why I like it so much but I just do.

In fact I will actually admit that I choked up at the end Spoiler to follow so if you haven't seen it don't click ;)

The scene when the Rejects have escaped from Sheriff Wydell & they are in the car facing the Police barricade, when they say their goodbyes & prepare to face the music.

It just gets to me, can't explain it because there should be no reason why I should feel that way but I just do.
Could be the use of Music...Freebird was such a fitting song.

Anyway whatever it is I love the film & I think I might put it on again now.

Ever seen "Teeth"? I saw maybe a half-hour of it on IFC. That was pretty disturbing.

I've never even heard of a lot of these sick ass movies. Honestly, I was curious to read the synapse of that Underground Mordum, but after that, I can't imagine very many people wanting to see something like that unless your a movie reviewer or you want to have nightmares for the rest of your life. That goes way beyond just curiosity to me. I can't fathom anyone wanting images of a movie like that in their heads. It's just sick, and way beyond disturbing.

I have 2 rules that I never break when it comes to movies these days. I won't watch any with sickly torture stuff or anything with violent rape scenes. I've seen a few too many scenes already and I find any realistic rape scenes to always be in bad taste. It's hard to live with these things I see on the news, but I don't want realistic images of that sick ____ in my head because then it starts to turn into thinking about someone doing that ____ to someone you care about, then you become angry, then depressed, not thanks.

never seen this movie, nor do I ever plan to, but that's pretty funny.
