Eden Lake. When the little kid gets covered in petrol and gets set on fire. His screaming and the imagery stayed in my head for ages after seeing that film.

Guess there is a movie out there called "Guinea Pig:Flower of Flesh & Blood. Sounds pretty messed up, Not as bad as the first movie I posted. . .but still, look up the description

or do a google pic search,
thing looks really disgusting, and gory,

the movie looks so real that Charlie Sheen thought it was a real Snuff kill video and he called the FBI,

I guess is the same as August Underground, a guy takes a woman, tortures her, cuts her up,

the movie was so controversial the maker had to do a movie where he shows all the special effects

all these movies where men take women torture them, rape them and cut them up, wtF?

thank you for reminding me I was going to post about this one but forgot the title

There was a series in the 90's called Traces of Death. It was styled after the Faces of Death movies, but set to a death metal soundtrack and and a lot more gruesome. It was all bootleg quality.

I don't know if they qualified as snuff films. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

Yup, I saw some bootleg VHS tapes of those. I don't know if they're technically snuff, though. Back in the day this was like the über Faces of Death.

I cant even stress enough about the August Underground Trilogy. Things I've seen I can never ever get out of my head, fake or not!
Watching those movies is something you have to be prepared for and will never be the same when your done watching them. Worst ____ I have ever seen! DO NOT WATCH!!!

why is it so bad?
I mean, I know the overall premise, guys take the girls and do things to them,
but, why did it bother you so much?

I've only seen August Underground and I actually hated it.

Keep in mind I only saw the edited version, but I honestly think the reason people are so disturbed by Martyrs is that it's so well directed/acted.

I found it to be profoundly moving. It made me think, but I wasn't laying awake at night because I was so disturbed.

I think you're right man, the acting and direction is nailed perfectly. But idk, I really can't say why exactly it bothered us so much. I think maybe because of the plot twist; everything following that is just like, what the hell?

And i know what you mean by Hellraiser doing the whole
skinning thing first
and come to think of it, I can't remember if they actively show it on film, or if you just see the result. either way, i think the progression of the beat down over time, and trying to get her to that breaking point was hard to watch, but the whole reasoning behind it was creepy and as i mentioned, the look in her eyes at the end...i'll never forget that lol what is it supposed to be? What is she seeing? It just makes you think.

I saw the Skinning of Matryrs online,
didn't bother me as much as I thought,
Aftermath bothered me A lot More, martyrs is really disturbing though, that is true,
but to me, didnt make me feel anything

"Although not a great film, Mordum will nevertheless find an audience amongst gore-hounds and fans of extreme cinema thanks to some fine stomach-churning effects and a few very sick taboo-busting scenes: a man is forced to emasculate himself with a pair of scissors; a woman makes herself vomit over her two screaming victims (who not once put up any resistance); a man guts a woman, then drops his trousers and proceeds to 'bang away' at the dead woman's abdominal cavity; and then there's the notorious bath scene which takes sexual deviancy on film to a new (low) level—Hell, I don't even want to describe what happens here!!"

Tip of the iceberg. . .

makes me wonder, why would someone make this, why would those people agree to this, and why would people want this,

of course the answer is money, but as actors their faces will forever be remembered with those acts, is kinda like when you see Bale you see Batman, or Wolverine, kinda applies here but in a sick way,
you see those movies then those actors will be remembered for this, which makes me wonder, why?

Im pretty sure the animal torture is gross, and there are some pictures about it,

but how is the human torture? is it really bad?

The human torture is bad, but I know it's fake so I can get through it, believe it or not. But the turtle killing was a real killing, and it was not like dissecting a tiny little frog where you can barely see the blood and guts. This was a HUGE turtle which made it even more disgusting since you can the blood, guts and everything else, right up close and in your face. Just F'N gross man. :monkey4

:lol that song is pretty hypnotic and catchy

____ that new born porn. crazy shat like that does happen. the first thing that popped in my mind was about what jon davis(korn) shared about the song Justin. he worked as a coroner before hitting the big time, he bagged a <9 moths old baby rape victim. sick shat...and was not expecting to see something of that nature in this film..:/

I spit on your Grave (remake) & I saw the Devil are 2 movies with some of the most disturbing rape & murder scenes that I ever seen. Extremely graphic and realistic.
