May I suggest you restart the poll with their stupid flight stand as a base option? Not only will it destroy your character’s outfit over time, but they can’t even bother to give an alternate crotch grabber with the flight stand. That truly has to be their worst and most pervasive decision.

Done…. Also added the idiotic waist grabber stand for most female figures.

Gotta say, for me the biggest nit I have with HT is: the interchangeability of parts. Swapping out heads and hands is somewhat uncomfortable for myself. I mean the amount of force to pop in/out a head or hand or even other bits, pieces and panels makes me feel wary. I know very well the figures can take it (and are designed that way), but for my peace of mind not so much

I generally loathe light-up features. I usually turn them on once, go "neat", and then never touch it again.

The electronics jack-up the price and typically the part that lights-up doesn't look good when its unlit, having an empty, flat, or otherwise dull look to it.

GIANT OUT OF SCALE HANDS!!! Drives me bonkers...

SO true! And even though it’s probably a safe bet that given the number of time we ACTUALLY switch out hands, etc on these figures, that breakage is probably rare, I still hate doing it! There’s GOTTA be a better way…

Totally agree. And for photography, I almost always use simulated lighting because it looks LOADS better and no weak/dead batteries to contend with!

I voted for "other". I know this is a very unpopular opinion, but I always preferred the rooted hair over the sculpted direction HT has decided on taking. The sculpted hair figures, to me, just seems like an oversized Marvel Legends figure, while the rooted hair added that extra layer of realism I always expected from these expensive collectibles. Sure, rooted required more futzing work, but the effort always was worth my time. Just my two cents...

I put the Iron man batteries. All my years collecting and that's got to be the most frustrating thing I've ever encountered, especially the MK85.

Exposed joints. There are cases when there are no other choices but way too many times hot toys will just stick a Exposed neck joint on a figure when they don't have to. Especially the female figures. It saves me money but its frustrating at the same time. The armored thanos figures are a perfect example of this.

The interesting thing about that footprints in the sand base is that they've already developed and used a semi-textured flat sand base with Rise of Skywalker Rey, so why not just start using that instead? Just cast it in different colors for the particular character. They even did a different one with Heavy Mando that's flat and sort of sandy looking without the footprints so they have options that they've already developed.
