I just checked, and the cheapest shipping method was around 10.00. I might have to finally pick up a Cap poster when I got some cash to drop

Yeah, I'm 'local' and you're further West so that sounds about right.

Now the REAL question you have to ask yourself... do you pick up the one that says AVENGE or CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER??

:panic:

I love my new Thor poster next to my "Avenge" Captain America poster! :yess:

I agree. The "Avenge" looks best.

That was my dilemma as well.

Why Avenge ? Was Cap a person made to seek revenge ?

It's kind of the Revenge of the Jedi dilemma .. you know ?

Why Avenge ?

Sweet buddy! That is almost like MY setup!! :horror:lol:yess:

SWEET! :rock :rock

You know what they say about great minds and all that! :hi5: :duff

Hey Darth Snoopy,

Where did you get your frames? They have a clean look to them.

I pick up my frames at Micheal's. They're about $20.00 each...cheap but they look good and do the job nicely! :yess:

For me, I just think it's bold, simple, and powerful. Can't really explain why other then that.

And as for "avenge," I look at it as a prelude of things to come as he'll be the one to lead the "Avengers."

I just like it.

I've got a Hellboy 2:The Golden Army poster from New York Comic-Con by Drew Struzan. Number 666/2100. If anyone's interested, I'll be posting pics and a price in my For Sale thread tonight.

How'd you manage to get that number?!

By the time I got there, it was in the late 600's, luck I guess. I figured if it's not number 1, the mark of the beast is a pretty significant number for a character named Hellboy. :p

I was on a poster forum and someone mentioned buying a frame that's 1/8" larger on each side. Is that necessary for a poster? Also, does plastic or glass make a difference over time? Not UV wise, but sticking to the poster and ruining it...

Neither plastic or glass is going to stick to a poster without something else involved, like getting the poster wet, etc.

I have no idea why you'd get a poster 1/8" bigger all around - that's a lot. Generally speaking, a poster frame that says it's for something 27x40 or 27x41 IS slightly bigger, but certainly not 1/4".
