Picked this GL poster off of eBay yesterday for $20.00...
Neither plastic or glass is going to stick to a poster without something else involved, like getting the poster wet, etc.
I have no idea why you'd get a poster 1/8" bigger all around - that's a lot. Generally speaking, a poster frame that says it's for something 27x40 or 27x41 IS slightly bigger, but certainly not 1/4".
Hate to keep referring to my poster for sale, but do any of you know the estimated value of a piece like that? I'm worried that I may have overpriced it, hence the general lack of activity.

J.J. Abrams' coming-of-age sci-fi Super 8 is a loving throwback to the golden age of Amblin, so who better to homage in this wonderful new promo than the man who gave Amblin's films their finest posters? Step forward Drew Struzan, artist behind E.T. and Gremlins. The poster comes courtesy of Cine 1.
But is it a homage or has the man himself secretly lent Abrams his services? Frankly, we're not too sure but we'll put our best people on finding out patrol.
The promo showcases some, but not all, of Super 8's young cast members. Needless to say, there's not a glimmer of the mysterious creature/alien/******* monster thing we've heard rumbling around the fictional town of Lillian, Idaho in the trailers.
Nice pick up Snoops!
Don't know if this has been posted but Drew Struzan has made a poster for Super 8.

I have a quick framing question. I just bought an aaron bros frame and noticed that there is almost a ripple effect with the poster in the frame. If I push the backing of the frame, I can see the poster move because of the space.
Is this normal or should I add more backing so it presses against the glass? I just don't want to damage the poster.
Thanks.
what price did you put on it?
I had it at $250,then $200, then $150.
It was an exclusive numbered 666 (didn't know if the numbering adjacent to the piece had any added value). Anyway, It's a Drew Struzan NYCC Hellboy 2 poster.

When this happens I usually ad some poster board to help with the backing.
