I wouldn't put it like that. If weathering means more to you that would be better. Elite is just an idealized version and they did some slight improvements in terms of construction and I think accuracy compared to the LE.

Go this route, you can make a way more screen accurate ANH DL-44 for about $400. Don't pay $3000 for a mediocre MR Elite. Spend the $2600 you will save on something better.

Exactly. And you could make a custom stand and plaque just like MR's. Oh well, too late I guess...

Umm, if I have to tell you why $2600 is a ripoff for a highly inaccurate MR Elite Solo blaster, it wont matter, you already bought one.

For $2600 you could get a real MGC Mauser and convert it. And then you have a true Han Solo blaster

It's a really great blaster, but not for that price, impulse buy makes fans spend a lot of unnecessary funds that could have been used towards another collectible. My advice for everyone, including newbies, is to be patient and do your research first.
