MR Han Solo Elite Blaster Announced

Many SW blasters were in fact real pistols and rifles/machine guns with various modifications added to them. This one is made from a metal Denix Mauser C96 with wooden grips - Denix being a Spanish company making accurate replica guns. Lichtbringer from RPF makes very accurate metal greeblies for blasters, and the seller added these to the blaster in a very professionally way. It wouldn't have been better if made by MR. And all greeblies are metal including those oval piece with fins on the sides.

I was really lucky to get this piece for my Imperial collection, since I haven't seen another made in this high quality in a long time - I've seen some Hasbro/resin conversions on the 501st forums, but this one is in another league all together. I also love the fact the trigger and cocking mechanism are both movable, it will look pretty neat next to my real deativated Sterling E-11 blaster.

Seriously, when I was checking it out last night, even after seeing the smaller scope and realizing the difference, I realized I just couldn't sell it. I originally bought it to be part of my Han ESB costume...

Flippity floppity. We go from one thing to another. You know for me right now, it's R2, HCs, and Mythos. But I'm thinking I might get a bug up my butt, lose the forty pounds before CVII, and get this Han cranking! I really want the riding boots, and found the perfect custom boot maker in Texas with Han boot experience.

I know, right? Another reason I can't part with it. I picked it up from a boardie (mfoga I believe) shortly after CV when I wanted to be Han so badly. He stated the numbered plaques were mailed to buyers later as they were not ready at release time. Said he just got lucky. I had to ask, because honestly, I just thought it was the year of the film. But it is indeed the edition number!

Hence my one million dollar asking price.

Thanks guys. Since we are among collectors, it is always cool to show your own stuff and to look at other people collections. I learned a lot this way. Personally I like my props as accurate as possible, so having for example the Sterling E-11 blaster with a real Eagle Hengstler counter and a M38 tank scope was a no brainer, plus the Sterling is in top 3 collectibles I have. I like the MR E-11, but it is a bit too idealized for my taste. It's really cool how they used real tank scopes for example on the Han blaster (M19/M32)

Thanks. Only God knows how many papers and documents I had to fill in and complete with the local gun laws enforcement. But in the end the Sterling Stormtrooper blaster remains my top favorite collectible. This piece simply screams "Star Wars" and with all its moving partts is like a real blaster. Everyone seeing my collection in person, after I tell them what it is, want to see it closely and even hold it - though holding it is a very hard to give privilege. It is a very sturdy blaster (it's the real deal, maybe someone even used it in some war, it is not a pipe replica blaster), I could beat someone with it, something I wouldn't dare with a MR blaster.
