Yeah, I personally don't dig the vision for Lion-O... I think a lot of other styles would have worked better for him.

Mumm-Ra looks just about right, but in comparison to Lion-O doesn't really work.

However, as I don't think we will see another version of Lion-O done anytime soon, Is there really any option ?

Yes sir ! THank you so much.

What is that elastic you told me about ?

As for Lion-O, I think my nostalgia got the best of me and I will be keeping him.

Yeah, Mumm-Ra should not be smaller than Lion-O... really hoping that is just a weird perspective issue. But they both look like they are lined up evenly.

Agreed, Lion-O looks too roided out, but Mumm-Ra looks perfect. If PCS had made Lion-O just a little less beefy and not so angry looking, he'd have been perfect. I did order the Lion-O EX, since I don't forsee any other representation of Lion-O like this coming out in a long time. Hopefully, the rest of the line follows the example of Mumm-Ra and stays more in sync with accuracy of the characters. I wouldn't mind adding Cheetara, Panthro, and a couple Mutants to my collection.

I think Mumm-Ra was scaled down a bit for cost reasons. Both were sculpted by the same guy.

For now, I'm only interested in the bad guys; they are an interesting bunch. I like how Lion-O turned out, but it's just not for me. Mumm-Ra is just right (when displayed away from Lion-O), and that base rocks.

Am I the only one not feeling this base:dunno:dunno

Nah, I don't think everyone needs to be on the same kind of base. Although I had to choose between the two I prefer one that is more character specific like Mumm-Ra's.

You must be. :lol:lol

I like the base. I prefer the unique character bases too. Lion-O's looks appropriate for the opening sequence where he is holding the Sword of Omens up to call the Thundercats.

Well maybe I'll like the base better in person. I trust Jerry I have a lot of his SF pieces and mumm-ra its self looks crazy:horror:lol

Just did the side-by-side with the picture from page 1... definitely scaled down. Base is a lot less impressive and his stance is changed to reflect the change in base size. Not diggin' the new stance nearly as much..doesn't look nearly as menacing, IMO. Can't tell but the arm pose looks a little different as well. Still a great statue, but I would have paid more for the proto version.

I actually don't mind the scaled down base compared to the initial picture. But that's just me. This piece looks awesome and the light up features are just mandatory.
