Are you masking at all or just using a brush. Any tips you discovered? I tried painting my Jango helmet and failed miserably. Jagged edges, paint coming off with the tape etc.
Natedog, you bad boy, trust you to see that, suppose you'll be singing send in the clones next, oops Clowns
Masked all the areas off with Tamiya Masking Tape and Airbrushed ( now that I have a decent compressor
)
Tips wise found that SSC clone armor isn't pure white.
I add a tiny bit of Citadel Goblin Green to the mix and it completely changes the look when you paint it.
Also use Citadel purity seal between different color coats to lock it down.
If you go wrong you can use a little spirit to remove what you have just painted should it go wrong

a tip...take the tape off when the paint is still a bit wet and not dried completely(learned that from american restoration on tv)....it helps with the peeling, etc...i did that with my new clone and it helped a lot...
btw..."pete"...if that is your real name..lol..
i really want to do a gray clone now..gee..thanks...
actually ive had one in the works for a bit..just never really did anything with him.may have to dig him back out and see what needs to be done...
Spidy, well remembered and quite correct ,always take the tape off after 10-15 mins ,also when pulling the tape off pull it back on it's self so almost touching the surface, it will give you the cleanest cut on the paint ( If That makes sense)
And YES my name is Earl ..... NO! Pete
I'm so glad I could Motivate you to get back into the Star Wars World
