My Attempt At Clone Armour

Haha understandable. I myself waited until the end to do those parts because I was experiencing some self doubt, but then I just went for it. I free handed everything on mine. For the wolf logo I just brought up an image of it on my iPad and took it slow with a thin brush first doing the rough outline and then gradually filling it in. Then I touched them up with a sharp xacto knife to scratch off the paint where I needed to.
For the shoulders I did the same thing, started small. I did the little diamond shape first and then did the center bar and then spaced it out from there on each side as equally as I could. I was pretty happy with the result. The hardest part was doing one wolf logo really nicely and then having to try and match that since they have to look exact. I'm doing Comet next and thankfully he doesn't have the logo on his helmet.

Here are a few updates, been trying to avoid Clone troopers for a while so decided to start some projects Ive Been thinking about for a while
They aren't quite complete yet and still need some touch ups here and there but you get the picture , no pun intended
I Know Calvincustom did a really good version of this guy and he did kick my ass into gear on this
Planning on scratch building the armour and soft goods for this guy and I'm basing him on the premium format statue.
Really excited to be Finally getting round to him

Been holding off on these as I didn't have the steady hands needed but finally worked up the courage to paint some cast Stormtrooper helmets I had
Its difficult to tell but I actually painted the lenses in a dark green to emulate the ANH helmets, just for a giggle
Armour is repainted Sandie and shadow trooper parts I've had stashed for ages







Finally I thought I'd go way out of my normal train of custom projects
See if anyone can guess who its gonna be

Yeh the armour and body suit will be a challenge, pretty much sorted the plans out for the armour but the bodysuit will be a real sewing marathon

Been Off This week and although I promised myself I would do some different customs , I got pulled into doing another clone

He's not entirely finnished ( need to do his backpack) but its pretty much there
The Photos are really the true yellow colour, its got more orange in it which is closer to the ref images I had.
