Dude, try collecting Premium Format LotR. :rotfl

That is what I did along with the LOTR dios. I still do the 1/6th scale too.:D
I just wait patiently for new figures now. I know that even though the LOTR line is slower the quality seems just a notch above the SW figures. I love the SW figures but the LOTR ones are my favorite even though they are slwowly produced. I am just glad we have 2 on order and they should show up within the next couple months. As long as I have one on order I am happy.:D

T.O. Says Mo Lord of the Rings please.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, don't say anything about Sideshow's vacation to mexico. They are still my company

I never get the dropping of a line comments. Why would you get rid of all your nice toys that you bought because you liked them just because a product line is not moving forward quickly? Just confusing to me.

Let's just say that if I had known that this line would have moved this slow, I would never have started it. Sorry some on here think my post was rude, I really don't think it was. If anything, at least we got some news from SST.

Yeah but that is what I don't get. What's the difference if it moves slowly, you still get top quality figures that you can enjoy. Isn't it great just to have some or do you have to be showered in LOTR figures from Sideshow? Just sayin seems like a weird position to be in.

A lot of posters here imagine any complainer as someone with a pitchfork at the gates of Sideshow Castle demanding to be let in.

I think there is a big jump between pissing and moaning here on the internet and actually sending it to SSC.

I don't think there is anything inherently wrong with taking it right to SSC, but you shouldn't do it as if you were doing it here, you have to exercise a little more professionalism.

:lol :lol he he, I liked that
x

Did you really think this line was cancelled and we weren't getting any new figures?

After the fellowship is released I could see it happening. I get the idea that people on here think my e-mail was abrasive, I understand that. I've read far worse on here from others about some of SST products and we all know that SST reads this board, so what is different about me e-mailing them, or some posting on here about poor paint apps, poor sculpts, or the exact same thing that I posted about, the time between releases. I knew I should have followed my instinct and not posted.

I think its similar to the "all or nothing" mentality of a completist.

I never really understood the "unload all my Hasbro 12"ers because SSC got the license" myself.

Of course the SSC items were going to be better, but SSC probably won't be making Boss Nass or Sebulba, etc, so I didn't understand getting rid of them.

Meh. If you only want to post when people agree with you then yeah, go ahead and not post.

I do think there is a big difference though between how to post here and how to contact them directly.

No offense intended, I was just curious whether your really thought it was coming to an end.

Honestly I thought it was a little abrasive as well but you're absolutely right. There has been far far worse said on this board.

...I knew I should have followed my instinct and not posted.

Why? Don't worry about what other people think, post away! That's what the boards are for.

I dunno who is worse...the person who complains to Sideshow...OR the person who complains about the person complaining to Sideshow..:monkey3:monkey5

I think it's the person that complains about the person complaining about the person complaining about Sideshow. :huh :monkey5 :lol

I don't blame the person that started the thread.

I was ready to e-mail Sideshow as to why keep doing the same character in the Marvel line? Why not go venture out with other characters?

The question form is there for a reason and also there is a Ask Sideshow question form in the Production Blog. Questions like these are always welcome to Sideshow and they are happy to answer them.

And no I didnt take my ball and go home:D, well actually I did, but just because my workday is up. Now I am home. I stand by me e-mail to SST. I also didnt mean to imply that I wasn't going to post because people weren't agreeing with me, I meant just this post cause I had a feeling it wouldn't be well recieved. My name is Scott D Elliott, and I am a 1/6th scale addict, and I need a fix.

I have been waiting years for a decent Michael Myers figure, but I never really once thought about sending an email to SSC about it. I don't really think that it was wrong to email them, but I do think the wording was a little harsh. I agree with a previous post that I feel sorry for these poor customer service reps who have to answer emails like this.

We all need a fix.:lol
